    Mortgage-free Glee!
    Hello all,

Well good news is that last chemo is in....so happy I cant tell you. Seemingly I'll be given the date for surgery on Tuesday so still got fingers crossed for pre-Christmas carve up.

Got the banking done today and went to Poundland to get some really OTT Christmas decorations. They had some big felt santa sacks for a quid each, my posher ones fell to pieces in the wash last year so these will do fine.

No a lot of non-tree decs so we'll head back in the next week or two. Christmas was dire last year with the whole ex-OH situation so I want this year to have all the trimmings including tree we didn't have last.

Got more Christmas pressies online this pm. Used Quidco and voucher threads here and got some fab stuff, all at about 40% off at Thorntons, Body Shop and Tesco Wine.

Teachers who've all helped SB out so much these year are getting little Body Shop gift boxes.

Workmen who've saved me bacon since the flat fire and generally putting stuff right for me are getting champagne.

Nurse at hosp are getting chocs and biscuits and the most special one who's looked after me the whole way through is getting a big Body Shop gift box.

So feeling confident that everyone is well looked after and the bank will stand the pressure. This is the year I;ve recieved lots of practical help and I really want people to know it's appreciated.

I've got my fingers crossed for you for the op, hope you get a date that fits in with you :A I haven't even looked to see what dec's we have left from last year's xmas but i think i might have to have a trip into town and pick up some more too!
