So sorry that after a vaguely positive week, you have now had a medical scare. Didn't understand the bit about ex keeping his share in the properties, can he renege on the agreement without penalties? REf the job, 2 hour commutes are bl00dy tiring even if you aren't post surgery, unless the train is taking the strain....? So I wouldn't go for it....
chevI want a job that is less than an hour driving away from my house! Are you listening universe?

Thanks Chev and Beanie.
OH has taken legal advice and now wants to keep his share of the properties and he's living rent free in what was my dad's house. As I had to buy my brother out I feel I'm paying out again and again while he still contributes nothing. Hummungous bonus is that he's now doing FA somewhere where I don't have to see it, hear it or deal with it.
Once I get this chemo out of the way and rescanned I'll decide and what I'm going to do.
Job...I agree with you Chev (but I didn't want to come across as a lazy cow). I also wrote a note to agent pointing out company's presentation re the project was wrong...either they'll be highly impressed or I'll be marked up as "Trouble" :rotfl::A Let us be grateful to people who make us happy: they are the charming gardeners who make our souls blossom. HI KJ - I don't think anyone would describe you as lazy.
I think dealing with cancer is a job in itself - and when you add into that that you are also a mother, a landlord and carer for your dad the word lazy is the last one I'd use to describe you.
Be kind to yourself... Go to hospital if you feel any rougher... Be careful... Now is not the time to "push thro" and disregard bodily warning signals... Now is the time to listen to them and try to find some positives along the way.

you're body is telling you to slow down..please listen to it.
I also wouldn't go for a job with a two hour commute until at least a year after treatment is finished...my GP told me that it takes up to 2 years to get over the s/e of chemo afterall they are poisoining you're whole system.0 -
Thanks Ladies.
I've been out for a walk both days with SB and husky so my lardy bum has seen some action. I've been tired but not exhausted, so hoping and praying that I hit the magic number tomorrow and we can finish the infusion part of the saga.

Thanks Taxi and Sashybo.
Unfortunately bone marrow had not tried hard enough and I got send homeBut I'm not a million miles off the required count so trying again Wednesday.
I've changed the dishwasher over and added the chicken to the chicken soup (the basic ingredient that got binned after I made the soup yesterday - looked a tad dodgy and I'm trying to be sensible).
I'll get the washing started after a nice cup of tea and some MSEing.
I hope everyone has a lovely day...the windows are open here which is such a treat.:A Let us be grateful to people who make us happy: they are the charming gardeners who make our souls blossom. Marcel Proust :A0 -
