Well went putting on Sunday with SB which was fun. Have to admit by the 9th hole (each one was about 10m) I was absolutely flagging. It's things like that which make me realise how exhausting this is, but we will come through and out the other end. Ashamed to say I was beaten, by one shot...the boy cheated I'm sure :rotfl::rotfl:
F.E.C. was yesterday. Long day in hospital but no reaction to the infusions which was good and they've put me on the heavy duty meds. Ended up in bed about 7:30pm. Pain woke me up about 2am and then I just drifted in and out. Been tired today but not in any real discomfort.
Finalised Companies House Annual Registration today which had to be done. Huge weight off my mind as it was due today or a potential £5k fine. Far too 11th hour...but I say that every year so illness is no real excuse.
Also wrote to Accountant. I got a letter from HMRC saying they wouldn't pay my Maternity Pay unless I sent in my MATB1 or baby's birth certificate. As "Baby" is 20 next month, methinks someone ticked the wrong box somewhere or otherwise all those scans have shown up a complete little miracle. :A:A Let us be grateful to people who make us happy: they are the charming gardeners who make our souls blossom. :rotfl: Oh KJ, you couldn't make it up!
Well done, well done and well done on the other things. Hope the pain is easing. xxI'm a Money and Debt Adviser for a homelessness and housing charity in Scotland. Crikey. Just had a marathon read. I'm having FECing FEC as well at the moment. Had 4 of 6 last Wednesday and I'm a little !!!!ed right now. I have a line in now as my veins are all gone thanks to the E.
You certainly manage to do more than me. I just about manage to get my SB off to school and BB (BiggerBoy) off to work in the morning, maybe do a bit of cleaning and an online shop, then I go back to bed until the District Nurse comes round. I can't cook much as my sense of smell is up the spout and everything smells of poo or blood for some reason. So it's ready meals, pies & pizzas for the boys, & I'm on salads & Doritos. Lol.
Really hope your FEC gets better.

Thanks Snaggles...really would put the icing on the cake.
Hi Elsie. I've a massive to do list and feel so guilty that I can do so little of it. Tenants are running circles round me because they've got rights and I've got obligations. But at the end of the day, like you I don't have the strength to deal with the little darlings. It'll all get sorted when we're better.
Are you having surgery post chemo or have you had that already?:A Let us be grateful to people who make us happy: they are the charming gardeners who make our souls blossom. Marcel Proust :A0 -
I've had my surgery. Had a skin saving masectomy where they got rid of 3 tumours, and popped in an inflatable implant. I've got 21 days of rads after this, then they have to replace the melted implant.
It's the ongoing pain that is so tiring though. Pain in my scar, pain from the filigestin, pain from my portacath(for my implant), tugging on my Hickman. I feel about 90 years old, but I really, really want to get back to work cos my brain is so bored! Obviously I can't cos I can't be in contact with my students. I had a 3 day visit to hospital just from catching a cold
I think you're doing amazingly though. Tired me out reading your diary. Lol.

Glad no 1 FEC is out of the way KJ..you are doing fab
Elsie ..sorry you're in the same position..4 out of 6 well done..you're nearly there
FEC was the worst chemo out of all mine as it made me so ill0 -
We're all getting there...just wish it could be a bit faster.
They've stopped my filigestin with FEC, only had it with Taxotere portion of the treatment. I've it backwards twice now, Taxotere then FEC, 3 of each. They had me on morphine which helped but the first time around it felt like the worse flu every all across my pelvis and legs.
Getting back to work is hard graft too. Your mind so wants to be engaged and at the same time craves a wee nap every hour or so. We just have to do the best we can. I don't see me back until the end of the summer holidays as I've surgery to come after this. Again with it being second time around I'm trying to be kinder to myself. I had a terrible time thinking people thought I was swing the lead but the only one who thought that was me. Then of course, I've no job to go back to, so that'll be another fun time:A Let us be grateful to people who make us happy: they are the charming gardeners who make our souls blossom. put all thoughts of work out of your mind for now as you need all your energy just to get through the day x0

I'm not giving a second thought to my contracting roles as I simply can't do (as we proved first time round) in this state. I've enough money tucked away to make it to the end of the year, assuming I get SSP paid by HMRC.
The killer is the flats. They've all got the whiff that I'm not chasing up late payment so they've literally stopped paying - 4 out of 13 which means I'm now in arrears every month and having to top up from savings. Ex-OH won't contribute a penny and it makes no difference to him what his credit rating looks like as he's decided he's never working again and his sister and his family are there to minister to his needs!!! On a very selfish front so glad none of that is my problem anymore except to when it comes to sell up and he'll have his sweaty little palm out for half of any profits...:mad::mad:
I need to be squeaky clean to work in the future so will have to keep making up the shortfall every month. I can get mad about it (useful emotion sometimes) or sanguine (which I'm trying to be at the moment). When I've some spare energy I'll have a bit of a vent and hopefully what comes around will go around for these horrible, thieving (I do consider deliberately not paying rent as theft) people.:A Let us be grateful to people who make us happy: they are the charming gardeners who make our souls blossom. Tenants sound awful!!
Is there no one who can help deal with them? Sorry if you've replied to this beforex
