Hi Beanie.
Started treatment on 1st Feb and all DLA literature said this 3 month waiting period unless under special rules or other special considerations.
Macmillian Nurse said she knew most I'd ever get was low rate care but now they've changed treatment and I'm even more tired then they may up it slightly. She's expecting them to call her.
I can't do 100m now without a sit down and get very wobbly when I'm out and about. I'm not freaking about it too much as I know it's only for the duration of the chemo and surgery and I'll heal again. I think given the fact it's second time around I feel much more confident that this is a process and I'll come out the other end.:A Let us be grateful to people who make us happy: they are the charming gardeners who make our souls blossom. So you only have to wait til 1 st May at latest I think.

It's a gorgeous day so we've been out for breakfast and the world's shortest toddle round the shops. Home now with dog treats box which we've shown to the hound and explained the essence of how it works. She's keeping a close eye on it to see when something appears.
District nurse has been and gone. Very smiley and chirpy. We live right on the Scottish Coast so she's was going from me to next patient along the coast road, sunnies on and windows down. Doesn't this weather make us all smile, even just a little:A Let us be grateful to people who make us happy: they are the charming gardeners who make our souls blossom. Marcel Proust :A0 -
I agree the weather definitely improves things.Have a nest restful weekend x0

Well we're dry here but not glorious like yesterday.
I'm seriously tired again. How can I have a restful night, be up there 12 hours and still feel like I could start again right now. Really am falling to bits:A Let us be grateful to people who make us happy: they are the charming gardeners who make our souls blossom. Marcel Proust :A0 -
District nurse has been and suggested I think about a wheel chair to let me get out and about a bit more. We were going for lunch and a walk but that's now been postponed til tomorrow as I'm too tired. Technical term is "Moaning Old Cow".
Grandad loves the wheelchair idea _pale_ but that just scares me more.
So lunch will be a cup of tea and a sandwich and we'll splash out on something this evening. Poor Small Boy, he's having to pick up so much slack, hopefully all this will stop in June once the chemo's all finished.
Still need to write to tenants about every increasing arrears. I truly don'y have the strength so now trying to park to the back of my head...June's not that far away and they'll have me half way to bankruptcy by then anyhow.:A Let us be grateful to people who make us happy: they are the charming gardeners who make our souls blossom. Hi kj sorry your very tired at the moment guess wheelchair would help you or do you feel you'd be embarrassed to use it i think i would be lol but it may be good fun also lol0
