Last week I bought a DS Lite game for £19.97 and OOD sticker said £19.94. Tried to get an R&R but horrible cs assistant only gave me 3 pence. Sent OH in today and got a result. A full R&R. :T

I CAN BACK UP YOUR STORY NEWMUM I AM ALSO A TESCO EMPLOYEE.CSD SO I HAVE FIRST HAND KNOWLEDGE.

Can you give us your version of the events that are about to happen please (as the thread is quiet).

You may get the odd disgruntled RandRer shout at you, but dont worry about it.

PS...please dont do it all in UPPERCASE though.

Well done, let this be a lesson to others who have been refused by "wasp chewing CS"

although i had a coke RandR refusal by a wasp chewing manager yesterday(who admittted i had been overcharged, but declined my RandR because he said it was "at his discretion").......a complete load of rubbish but for 6 boxes of coke, what the hell.......went on to 2 further stores and got it no bother.........

Its pretty much the same as finding an over charge and buying 2 of the item you'd get away with it but then if you buy 10 then tescos can use the excuse of 'Bulk buying is limited to 6 items etc' If you werent fully clued up on r&r you would say "ok i'll just have the 6 free then" even tho you are entitled to the full refund on 10..if they got policies for bulk buying then they stop you before you pay for them..once you've paid for them then they got to refund on them all!!
I have seen stores where the bulk buy policy is 2 items. They have an A4 sheet by cs desk!

So what will the other one be like? :p

Ummm, Ahh - it was a test.

Jolly well done for reading my post in full Chris and spotting the obvious mistake...

You are this week's winner of a weekend break to Dundee staying in a specially selected Bed & Breakfast where you can enjoy the company of a MSEr of your choice with £7.50 worth of Tesco Cafe vouchers to spend on a meal for two.

It should be at the checkouts, and the tills should stop you buying more than 2, as if you are sold more than 2 at the wrong price, they are obliged to Refund you on them all.

How does a 3 for 2 offer work i wonder.

or how do you buy a case(6 bottles of wine)....

The mind boggles at their stupidity.

Thanks for that MUNT, this was my whole argument the other day, but Spa was adamant that RandRers were moaning because Tesco wouldnt refund, or we were trying to get CS staff to break Company Policy....which actually he quoted or used incorrectly.

I still say though, that customers dont really see that they have been undercharged, they see it as being charged correctly, its the SEL thats (again) incorrect.

I concede the point with regards to entertainment, i certainly didnt quote the policy as I couldnt find it online and therefore was unaware of the word "may."

What confuses me slightly is that customers see being undercharged as being charged correctly because the label is wrong but being overcharged as being charged incorrectly because the label is wrong. Surely if the label is wrong then the label is wrong and you are being charged incorrectly. In fact, forget slightly it is confusing the hell out of me.

    What MSEr would I take?

Does Joanne read this thread I wonder..... (she can buy her own breakfast)
