i cannot believe the greed of some people, why would you want 3 of the same xbox game?? the same goes for the boxes of coke that people have been getting, one or two would be ok, and would not draw attention to yourself, but people have been getting 7 to 10 boxes of the stuff.
Why WOULDNT someone want three of the same game? I regularly get three or more of the same game if there is a misprice, One for me, one for my nephew and one to exchange for another game. I either exchange them at Tescos or take them into Gamestation and trade them in, that way I only get second hand value for them but I can get decent games that Tescos doesnt stock. I'm pretty sure most people on here are the same, if they are selling them on ebay fair play to them, I'm sure they are doing it for their own reasons, maybe to supplement a low income, maybe to put food on the table the same way you do by seeking out meat misprices, Is that wrong?netty_betty wrote:please dont get me started on the self centered gits with flash cars that park in the parent/child parking spaces so that they dont get their precious vehicles dented by car doors, nothing makes my blood boil more than this!!!!! anyone intesrested about setting up a thread about this?? if we all wrote to our local supermarkets, about the spaces being watched by the trolley collectors, and told to move if they shouldnt be there, i will come off my soapbox now

Hi Dudes/ Dudesses,
Haven't posted for a while.
Trust everyone is doing their level best to relieve Mr T of his overpriced goods. Great, all is as it should be.
I read alot of witching through this thread, with people wanting to impse their thoughts/idea's / rules on how rr should be done, and how much anyone should/shouldn't take.
My view is simple on this, for every 1 R&R dude/dudess, there has to be about 50,000 custmers per store that don't even bother to check their receipts.
And even when a few do check, they still can't be bothered to go back and say " oy u thieving git, u over charged me"
If Tesco didnt overcharge people then they wouldn't need or have this policy.
I realise that mistakes can be made as we are all human. But when the same mistakes are made week in week out, and have been brought to the managers attention, then not rectified, I can only see this as deliberate action.
They know they are doing it, we know they are doing it, even TS know what is going on..so who is going to stop it ?
My guess is no one, which is why i'll keep on buying more Tesco shares, that way I get the spoils both ways.
And to the person complaining about not being able to afford the outlay..if u change your attitude a bit..no offence meant here..but when you say " I can't afford it" that is it, your mind is shut down and nothing happens.
If you tried " how can I afford it" at least you give yourself 1/2 a chance of finding a way to do it. I no people say dont use credit cards for rr, but there is one way to afford it without any cash outlay.
Double the difference new offer..only to discourage rr, cannot see for the life of me why they just dont concentrate on getting the prices right.
Best of luck rr peopleBack to square one, no apg, no comment.0 -

Your figures here are slightly twisted....it is only the very biggest stores that get anywhere near 50,000 customers per week and even then it is only on big weeks.
You say that if Tesco didnt overcharge people then they wouldnt need or have this policy. The fact is that even in small superstores can stock over 10000 different lines each requiring a label and that some of them will be wrong. Some are wrong in a good way for the customer and some are wrong in a bad way. In my experience of running the department that deals with the labels the amounts average out to around the same however there is not a website / long running thread set up to deal with prices that are less than displayed as there is no financial gain to be had. Any shop will also overcharge people as they will undercharge people. If any other retail establishment had this policy I have no doubts that there would be a website / long running thread debating the ins and outs of the relevant shop.Fight Poverty - Hit a tramp!

Hi Spa2k.
Agree with your post..my figures where an example.
Also realise that getting the prices on 10k different units is very difficult task, even worse when the prices shift up and down daily.
Some of the mistakes must be down to staff training, years ago I worked for Gateways as a butchery boy, wrapping meat and pricing it part of my job.
The meat manager always checked the prices before anything hit the shelf, my part of the job was to check the prices compared, this is 20 years ago.
Does that not happen ? And does the stuff that comes in pre priced just get put out without any price checking ?
Re website, you are course 100% correct, greed is in human nature so having a website for undercharges will only happen if a supermarket wants to use it for research data.
Well miffed we got beat by the toon.Back to square one, no apg, no comment.0 -
