No wonder the policy is changing its people like you who bleed the golden goose dry. yor abject greed disgusts me, there is no need for this kind of behaviour, i have had many r&rs and always with a smile and apology, i never take more than i need, and have fed my family quite nicley when things were tight thanks to mr ts generosity, but when the policy changes to double the differnce that wont help me out.
mystore had the xbox consoles GOW but I couldnt afford to even buy it for 5 mins to get the refund on it, yet many of you were buying 3 or 4 at a time, obviously being able to afford that kind of initial outlay quite easily, and putting them straight on to ebay, i dont recall anyone saying look ive got 4 xboxes for free i could give them to a hospice, childrens home or even a charity shop, no, ome people even take stuff from R&rs and take it to other shops to get even more money back.
some of you may argue that tescos overcharge and you are only getting your own back or whatever, but the greedy ones are just as bad if not worse because they deliberatly set out to rob tescos.
I believe in karma, what goes round, comes round. all you greedy pigs out there take note, your gravy train will soon run dry, and its all thanks to you that people like me will not get the odd free meal to feed my children when money is tight.Lady of Leisure!0 -
For some reason the thread seems to have wondered back onto the greed track again. Cant we agree to disagree here?
Some people percieve it as greed, some people dont. There is an ethics thread to discuss this topic.....Fight Poverty - Hit a tramp!

I agree with you wholeheartedly spa
As for cc99 I think your ulterior motive is your own level of greed, your more worried about what you may lose out on than anything else this last sentence sums it up.Four guns yet only one trigger prepare for a volley.Together we can make a difference.0 -
i know this should be on the misprice discussion thread, but i just had to comment on this. there is no wonder that tesco is changing the R&R policy!!
i cannot believe the greed of some people, why would you want 3 of the same xbox game?? the same goes for the boxes of coke that people have been getting, one or two would be ok, and would not draw attention to yourself, but people have been getting 7 to 10 boxes of the stuff, this is just plain and simple greed. i am not against people that r&r as i do this myself, but i only ever get one thing at a time, and its only if its someting i can use, the odd dvd,or the odd playstation game for my son, sometimes a pack of meat if i am lucky enough to find it mispriced, if everyone did this then i doubt it would be coming to an end, but as always it is the selfish people in this world that spoil it for others
and talking of selfish people, please dont get me started on the self centered gits with flash cars that park in the parent/child parking spaces so that they dont get their precious vehicles dented by car doors, nothing makes my blood boil more than this!!!!! anyone intesrested about setting up a thread about this?? if we all wrote to our local supermarkets, about the spaces being watched by the trolley collectors, and told to move if they shouldnt be there, i will come off my soapbox nowdont wait for your boat to come in, get in a dingy and row out to it!!!0 -
goodness me you both sound so bitter.

So what? R&R is changing in the next week or two, so fill your boots!
After all the board does state that "if things don't add up ..."
BLUE & WHITE.
Doesn't state "Oh BTW, if you purchase 3 off an item we'll make you out to be a criminal"0 -

They really haven't thought this one through, have they? So, the SEL said price per KG is £3.23, you were charged £4.21 per KG, the product weighs 1.43KG, and you need double of the difference. Now, where's my calculator?? :rotfl:
Perhaps you haven't considered the option of installing calculating scales at CSDs. This would make it very easy for CS assistants, but cost quite a lot of money to install.
I agree with the idea and posted something similar early in the week. Just wanted to point out the alternative possibility.0 -

To be fair, feeding your children when you are skint can in no way be termed greed.ॐ Signature Removed by Someones Mum. ॐ0 -

Whilst I agree with you and am of the opinion that there is no excuse for mistreatment of customers, when someone is standing in front of you with 3 copies of "Yanna Koupopolous - Greatest Hits" saying that they are mispriced whilst claiming that one was for great uncle fred, one for your nephew and one for yourself i would imagine that it does become a little irksome!
I agree that a customer has the right to purchase what they choose but some people are quite blatant in their mickey taking. This is where the greed element comes in (but this is still not the place to discuss greed!) - lets face it, it is not the genuine consumer who will come with 3 copies of a game for a refund, it is the pro r&r'er.Fight Poverty - Hit a tramp!
