... Scanned 6.95
Have they fixed it?
Oh sign still there.
And the !!!!!!s had removed SELs at their chickens, which have been wrong for weeks. Looks like another R&Rer has moved in on my patch!
You must have missed my post that said..."Dont pick te £6.95 flashed boxes, as that is what they scan at"..............Couponing....."every little hurts"

Ive noticed new signs in a couple of stores, these were on show before Christmas........it take Mr T months to correct a book price, how long can you imagine it takes to design, order, and fix new signs, these have possibly been in the pipeline since 1999.Couponing....."every little hurts"

Visiting friends today, decided to do a bit of couponing....last day for the high value clothes coupons...............anyway...
Bought ladies suit for daughter, consisting of £40 jacket, £20 trousers.....
Didn't realise until arrived back at friends house that the lady on the till had scanned the jacket twice, and not the trousers.
Dodgy ground I thought(knowing some cs attitude), so I phoned store immediately to tell them of this overcharge, was told to bring them back......20mile drive, but didnt want to get diddled(ok if boot on other foot).
I went through all the possibilities with OH, so she would know what to expect(or so i thought)...from being called a fraudster for trying to return trousers, when in fact had bought a jacket, to getting difference back and even RandR on trousers.
Arrived at store, CS man scanned jacket..gave my OH £40, then scanned jacket again and gave her another £40, but told her if she wanted the trousers she would have to buy them back, which she did for £20.
Ended up with £60 suit, and £60 refund.........which as they were "seperates" wasnt expected....in addition to this which we have just noticed, but are 150 miles from the store now, is that when the CS man put the goods into the carrier bag, there was a already a pair of trousers in the bag, left by a previous customer.....and they had the bill in as well of £25.
Dilemma...do we drive 300mile round trip to take them back with very little thanks, or do we return them to a local store where I am banned from, again, with very little thanks.......answer, NO..........we'll just keep them thanks........other answers on a postcard please .Couponing....."every little hurts"

The policy board is still on display in the 3 stores I've been in today, and the R+R policy is very much alive and kicking! (to the tune of £62.05 to be precise)0

I am so gutted, after 13months of following this thread for the first time I managed to find a R&R and had the balls to try it.
I took 2 boxes of diet coke to the til advertised as £6.95 scanned through as £7.25 went to the customer services and they said we only give you the difference so I pointed out Replace and Refund policy and the young lad said no we just give the difference  . I now how £15 worth of coke I never wanted and it cost me £5 petrol. I am so gutted, is there anything I can do about this?May 2015 £10 a day currently £2080 -

In the first instance ask to speak to the manager.
Thanks for replying but unfortunatley I am now home and peed off, any other ideas of how I can get my money back would be hugely appreciated.
Thanks

Am I getting this right? If they DO go to double the difference, there may still be some deals that are worth doing? I remember a while ago getting charged £22.99 on a DVD box set (can't remember what it was) that was stickered at £9.99. Am I right in assuming in this instance that I would have got £24 back for my £23 spend? Sorry if that's completely silly, maths was never my strong point!0
