What first statement? It was a TIC suggestion, hence the smilie for dimbos. I always try and be nice to other MSERs, but you're clearly someone with a problem. Have you forgotten to take your treatment?

    edit:

Ok, i apologise for not realising the fact that it was a tongue in cheek comment......

Treatment taken - no longer a dimbo :)

I (and others) think nothing of doing 150 mile round trips on "expeditions"......if you dont try.....you dont get.

As to how many different things to get....depends on what they are, small items mixed in with shopping wont raise alarms, dvd, cds, etc, are ok a few at a time, 2 coke, 2 beef, 3dvds and the odd other item should be ok.....it depends on how you handle it as well.......and how often this store has been bitten.

Be calm, never demanding, only tell them "you think youve been overcharged on some items", dont go barging in, asking immediately for a refund, let them lead you, and usually after maybe an initial "offering you the difference", you should be ok.

    Thankyoooo :)

    That's OK!
  • I have just found it increasingly difficult since probably before Christmas to obtain R&R's. Have only had a few minor ones since. And with the policy changing on the 19th I definitely wont be shopping as much in Tescos but it was nice while it lasted ;)

Oooops, too late - here we go again.
  • If it was to change then the 19th would be the point it changes, we have been told tesco work on a slightly off year that starts this year on the 19th feb so would be a perfect opertunity for them to drop the r+r policy will they? who knows a previous post informed us that they have r+red about £8million worth considering the company makes 2.2billion a year it isnt really a large chunk. Tesco get money out of me every time I go on an r+r mission drinks and snacks whihc they wouldnt normally get, I also fill my car up there well I am passing the fuel station on the way out so it saves me time and they tend to be reasonably cheap.

as for tesco being cheaper than asda then I am still waiting to see that I belive that all the singing and shouting they do regarding the 1000's of offers each week that change daily then they sound chepaer untill you actually go to asda and see that they do the same prices but they arn;t offers they are their normall prices. I have had a lot of freebys so I am in profit so thats all that matters I propberbly wouldnt have bought an xbox 360 and my sister wouldnt have a psp so Im happy if it all ends tomorrow if it doesnt game on.

Tesco year end, this year is Sunday 25th Feb so obviously the next financial year start is Monday 26th Feb.
