Just to clarify, to be honest I don't think that taking the price label off is fair and in line with the policy. I think the whole idea is mis-pricing. If the price is on it and you remove it, you're not finding a mis-price, you're making one. Would you change the SEL and feel as honest? not that I'm telling anyone not to do it, it's your business, but that's just my point of view on that one. I do however agree with finding mis-prices galore!

Be Careful though.. personally I would take the £19.94 sticker off as when they scan it to see how much its worth its gonna scan £19.97 so they might be 2 and 2 together and realise you had it free..

As mentioned use a tesco carrier bag and mentioned you had it for your birthday off your parents but already get it..be polite and bit chirpy.. thats seems to work for me.

Above is the original post that Coupon Mad was referring to when he/she said:

I would reiterate this, definitely take the £19.94 stickers off (because they will scan higher). I have done so before and exchanged items with no problems as they are sealed.

I think Richie23 and Coupon-mad meant that you should take off the sticker before taking games 'back' after they'd been R&R'ed, not before buying them to get a R&R.

I'm not sure I agree with taking R&R'ed stuff back for a second refund but I don't think anyone was actually encouraging people to take the sticker off to get a misprice.

Does anyone know if the policy did change afterall?

Noticed on the misprice thread that somsone got an R&R yesterday but was advised by the CS woman that the policy was changing today.

Honeslty Bluey, I couldnt care less if people abuse this.

If Tesco have a policy to R&R, They are just putting their !!! on a plate to be abused.

Although i dont see the point in doing it for items like foods that cost a few £ here and there.

Anyways have had fun reading through the long winded arguments, long may it continue :)

I have just bought a ds lite game stickered at £19.94 and charged £19.97. Took it to cs and was refunded 3pence!!! She spoke to me as though I was 12 as she gave me the money and when I asked what the policy was, she did not reply. Did not want to push it as people have been talking about the policy changing.

Should I ring cs to ask?

have a look and see if it's on the tesco charter near the info desk. If so go back, point it out and say you would like the rest of your money back. If not...?

I did not see the sign but then I was too embarrassed to look after being refunded the 3pence. I am going back tonight when the evening shift take over to have another go.
