R and R'ers do pay for their shopping.
They just get a bit more change than everyone else! One hundred years from now it won't matter what kind of car I drove, what kind of house I lived in, how much money I had in the bank, nor what my clothes looked like but the world may be a little better because, I was important in the life of a child.0 -
Ok, this is naughty, but you can still appeal to head office in the name of a relative or friend just use their name and address! (with their permission):p0

(how i wish i had that gun....)0 -
I suspect Tescos are just under a lot of pressure at the moment, it seems there are a number of investigations taking place so they put a bit of extra effort in to remove the evidence of the offences for a while.flux wrote:Sorry if this shouldnt be posted here.

Don't worry though, they're still mispricing, they're still commiting the offences, its just a question of who gets to the evidence first, those investigating, you or them!
It won't be long till the guy with the price gun gets called to the tills.
Edit. Sorry thought it was discussion thread. Continue there if need be!0 -

With R&R what is the best way to get the item. Actually allow it through the till and pay then go to CS? Or mention it after it has been scanned at till.
I assume best option is to pay up then contract is sealed right?
Also is it a feasible thing to actually take a fistful of games to the self scan and try loads to find erroneous prices? Or is it likely that the eye in the sky monitor the self scan?? And does the self scan link to the main shop tills - so they can see someone has been price checking? Or am I thinking too hard about this and I should just get in there and grab some freebies?Play up Pompey!0 -
Sorry can we get back on topic here please...
To reiterate my question relating to the use of a loophole in official Tesco policy (and not theft or any kind of illegal activity)
With R&R what is the best way to get the item. Actually allow it through the till and pay then go to CS? Or mention it after it has been scanned at till.

Personally it would make you look like a shop lifter to me. No, price check points are not linked to the tills in that way. Overhead cameras can be pointed where the operator likes.
Response in red.Who or what was I before you came in to my life

After one poster suggested tearing off a price label, obviously with tongue in cheek, it is interesting to see how a discussion almost develops into a row, when regular posters discuss an issue, which has a morality aspect to it.
On MSE, we persistently see mentions of all sorts of businesses ripping us off with one scam or another off and doing it right, left and centre.
Ripping a price label is perhaps just a bit too simple?
Perhaps the poster concerned's suggestion would have gone down better if it was a lot more complex, confused the hell out of us and furthermore, ressembled one of those familiar typical high street scams?
