Tesco misprice discussion area part 17

I wish to state that I don't really have a problem with people that do return dvd's etc - if the CSA's chose to ignore policy then it is their lookout and their job at risk however my question is aimed at those that complain when Tesco won't take a dvd / cd etc back. It is those same people who complain (quite rightly) when r&r is refused. That to me smacks of double standards as they want to complain when Tesco wont stick to policy and then complain again when they do - and some of the more recent posts seem to be aimed at getting CSA's to ignore the "no returns" policy on entertainment.
Surely this is exactly what the same people CLAIM that management tries to do with the R&R policy and most vehemently complain about!Fight Poverty - Hit a tramp!

Hi guys, sorry but I got a tesco question.
I'm an R&R virgin :embarasse, and have been reading about the sort of deals thats available out there and have a few questions.
basically I wnt to know, how you come about finding these out? do you randomly check for these things, or are you just lucky when you take items to the checkout? Also, is the best way to look at the price label, then take the item to one of the instore scanners and see if its different? THEN.... do you take it to get scanned, pay for it, and immediately march to CS, or do you tell the till person of the error, or take it to CS without buying it and tell them of the fault? I dont wanna go doing things wrong do I?
Any help would be appreciated so thanks in advance!0 -

spa2k wrote:Now it is Tesco's clearly stated policy that games / cd's / dvd's are not exchanged / refunded unless faulty.
Spa, while I see your reasons for posting this, is the reason for the dvd/cd/games part of the policy not just down to performing rights/counterfeiting problems, and is that not nullified by the fact that the items are returned still sealed.....i always advise Never to accept opened items of this nature.
Addendum....and Tescos cant add "non sealed" to the policy as some stores actually open these items to display empty cases, so in these stores all are sold unsealed.Couponing....."every little hurts"
Half of the people can be part right all of the time, Some of the people can be all right part of the time.
But all the people can't be all right all the time. .........I think Abraham Lincoln said that.

Sorry to be a lil' slow
But can someone tell me what CSA and HO mean please? I know CS(D) stands for Customer Service (Department) but the A has me all confused hehe. And the HO? I thought it was a mix up of OH (other half) but I guess not haha.
Thanks0 -
