Got 2 games today 1 PSP, 1 DS, both sealed. What are TESCO like for doing exchanges?? They still have the £19.94 stickers on them, but my receipt has pen ink all over it!

    Apologies if asked before.

It all depends on the CSA you try it with, some say no recipt its tough, others will offer exchanges some will offer a refund. the fact they are sealed and have tesco stickers on should make it better for youbut be prepared to try other stores.

I usually just carry the games round with me in the back of the car, check the store for any r+r's if I find none than I go get a game and ask for a swap. I have loads of chart psp games by returning 2 non chart the rest is either refunded in cash or to my card.

Come up with a decent beliveable reason and they should sort you out. unwanted gift, they broke the psp/ds what ever.

And take it back in a Tesco carrier bag - you won't believe how many times that one works.

Tag in recycling bin outside, hope you don't mind me leaving it there!

EAN on tag in jumper is 5051140019648

Dear Sammyhammy, checked all the numbers in my local store, but couldn't find it. What colour was the jumper please? It's going to snow next week.
    Many thanks

Cashmere v-necks reduced to £25 on swing tag and £25 sticker on protective cover. One scanned £25 and the other £35. Used £10 off £50 spend given out in store and paid £50 the two. R&R on £35 jumper so £15 the two :D

Thanks Mr T needed some warm jumpers ;)

Yeah mine did that one scanned at £35 and one £25, but clever sales assistant noticed, and called supervisor over.

    bummer

I tracked down the original EAN as quoted by OP and it's for a pink one. I asked the SA which ones were reduced as it was really vague at my local - just had a disc saying £10 off selected lines -when I asked her if the pink ones were reduced (they were around the corner) she said, no, they were new lines - it's the black, grey and brown ones that have £10 off, so if you can find pink with £10 off, sounds like you're onto a winner.

Watch out for a lilacy one, that seemed to be in with the grey ones tho - reckon that is reduced too, as not many left.

Be Careful though.. personally I would take the £19.94 sticker off as when they scan it to see how much its worth its gonna scan £19.97 so they might be 2 and 2 together and realise you had it free..

As mentioned use a tesco carrier bag and mentioned you had it for your birthday off your parents but already get it..be polite and bit chirpy.. thats seems to work for me.

"Sorry to be a pain and dont know if you can help but... i'm stuck with this game my parents bought me.Trouble is i've already got it. could I exchange for the same value by any chance?? Parents eh.. if its not a game you already got its a pair of white socks"

    Good Luck!
  • I've swapped games for stuff b4 no reciept, they just prefer you to get bulky stuff rather than putting through ur eggs milk & whatever at the CSD. To keep your profile down I think it would be better to take them back to Sainsburys.

I also think RandR'n should be saved for thing you actually want rather than to make a profit selling things on etc. I got these games out of greed rather than need and feel guilty for doing so.
I'm getting older, and lifes getting harder!

I have just seen a PSP cardboard cube saying buy a PSP and Tekken for £159.xx, save £19.xx. Unfortauntely the scanner was not working so I could not check, and the people on CS were the same ones who gave me my 360 (after calling ho etc) so didn't want to try it right then...
no one got any ideas on what the price should be at the moment?
