  • I think the light pink ones were full price at my local, not on the sales rail, but might go to another store to look out for the pink & lilac ones there. Nice colours hope to find one, thank you.
  • i scanned it about a week ago, correct price :(

I have just seen a PSP cardboard cube saying buy a PSP and Tekken for £159.xx, save £19.xx. Unfortauntely the scanner was not working so I could not check, and the people on CS were the same ones who gave me my 360 (after calling ho etc) so didn't want to try it right then...
no one got any ideas on what the price should be at the moment?

I know Ledhead was talking about something in the past. I was talking about something I saw today and was unsure about - regardless of anything Ledhead had said. Just because its happened before doesn't mean it wont come up again and I hadn't seen this box before.

Be Careful though.. personally I would take the £19.94 sticker off as when they scan it to see how much its worth its gonna scan £19.97 so they might be 2 and 2 together and realise you had it free..

    Good Luck!

I would reiterate this, definitely take the £19.94 stickers off at home before returning the item (because they will scan higher). I have done so before and exchanged items with no problems as they are sealed.

IMHO I would only take one game back at a time. Looks more believable and (even tho' one of your games was a DS) taking 2 back might prompt a clued-up CS to remember that the PSP games are on offer (2 for £30) at the moment and think you may have only paid £30 for your games.

You shouldn't have any problems at most branches, pick a bigger store or an Extra as they seem much more used to customer refunds/returns etc., and probably won't bat an eyelid if you ask nicely.

P.S. Edited above bit in bold to make it clearer....it seems to have been miscontrued while I've been offline! Let me make it clear for those who can't follow the thread properly....I WOULD NEVER remove/alter/move...or even touch a price label, SEL or POS in a store.

Glad I missed the deleted posts, but thought that by quoting Richie it was already clear we meant when RETURNING a wrongly-stickered item for a golden R&R (which has already been discussed to death on here and on the ethics thread).

Sign above all cashmere jumpers in my store that says £10 off Cashmere jumpers But none of the jumpers are marked as reduced?

These (cashmere) posts have been brought over from the misprice only thread.....I bought a couple of these the day before the OP mentioned them, one was £25(black) and the other was £35(pink).

The sign i saw at the time was "all were £35"..so no RandR.

Since then i have seen "£10 off selected items"..still not RandRable.

Today i have seen "£35 but £10 off selected items".

On the evidence above I think anyone who has had an RandR off these has been lucky, or the SA's in their stores have discounted the wrong ones, or the sign doesnt say "selected items".

Did you mange to get any Hflower

Time for a bit of controversy......

I have noticed many times before that people have been mentioning about taking games back for an exchange / refund because the item that they have had an r&R on is not wanted.

Now it is Tesco's clearly stated policy that games / cd's / dvd's are not exchanged / refunded unless faulty.

Is it not then double standards to complain when Tesco customer assistants do not stick to the r&r policy but then expect them not to stick to the policy on entertainment returns?

Spa2k, I don't really post here much anymore, but happened accross your post just now, so if I may...

Surely if you walk into a Tesco and ask if they will exchange it, and they agree there's nothing wrong with that. If they asked if it was faulty, and the customer lied and said yes, then yes, that's certainly unethical, and is downright dishonesty.

Its the same with prices displayed on labels etc, yes, I am aware of the Consumer Protection Act, and regarding misrepresentation etc, but the price on display is "an invitation to treat". When you take the item to the till, you are offering to buy the item at the stated price, and then the checkout person either accepts your offer or rejects your offer.

IMHO (IANAL), doing what you described is on a similar principle, what do you think...?

I think alot of the time it is down to individual interpretation, some CSA's see a sealed game as unused and are happy to accept it back others wont some want a recipt some don't. It is very similar with an r+r back to the PSP r+r a few month ago when the base pack wasnt triggering the £20 off when bought with the game of the week the barkers or sels didnt indacate the base pack wasnt included infact I had 2 stores insisting that I hadnt bought a PSP console as the offer SEL said PSP console and the PSP base said PSP base pack. I also had the same issue when I bought the PSP with 2 games giga pack and game of the week.

It happens everywhere, if someone can try to find a whay of getting out of somthing they will. The policy on not accepting games, dvd's and cds is perfectly acceptable and the store is in their right to refuse it is just that some CSA's take it upon theirselves to refund or exchange.
