Tesco misprice discussion area part 17

Do not know if you guys have seen this site yet?
What do you make of it.

select search catagory OVERCHARGE and there is even a piece on this very website (moneysavingexpert)

BTW my local has now removed the blue board behind CSD however I spotted at least 10 A4 signs still up
Roll on Monday when I see one of these old signs and ask for R&R!!!

If it is advertised they should honour it or it is false advertising and could be reported to ASA

It's the indignance of being "treated badly" and the threats to report to head office that crack me up.

I had a look when I was shopping in Tesco recently and did in fact see a misprice in the meat section for rump steak. I pointed it out to the woman working there and she thanked me with a disbelieving look on her face.
I wish the policy wasn't being discontinued as I'd become an anti R&Rer just for the hell of it. I pop in to buy a sandwich for lunch most days so I'll check the misprice listings and see if there are any others I can help them with.

Come join me it'll be liberating. If I see a !!!!! with a gobsmacked look I'll report it back as a golden-anti-R&R.

Unfortunately ASA won't be interested if it is only advertised within the store however that doesn't stop you making the complaint and forwarding a copy to Tesco HO - they fold very easily, as I found out.

All the info is available to Tesco, they even get lists each week from their HO of the next price changes and the info on here, doesn't see to help them.

As for Leadhead he's usually a good judge of character.:D

Hey we know that you don't care. Most sociopaths don't.

I don't think anyone has said it's illegal per se. However, it is on the wrong end of right and wrong and that's a good enough reason to find the practice abhorrent:p

It has become blatantly obvious that certain people (we all know who they are), regardless of being told to refrain from discussing ethics on this thread, seem determined to keep the discussion going by any means necessary (including confrontational and downright insulting comments). I can only assume that they do so in order to try to get the thread permanently closed. In light of this, please could everyone refrain from replying to said people.
