Well, exercise your right to shop elsewhere and stop bleating about it.

Tesco Employee, agree with you wholeheartedly. The greedy pigs with their noses in the trough have spoiled it like I said they would.

To the guy with the aliases and sad tactics that wouldn't look out of place in a spy movie (despite the fact he just "secures" himself some free beans), what ya gonna do now? Yer martyr/ urban guerrilla role is now defunct. Ach, well you were resorting to underhanded tactics anyway.Might as well go the whole hog and just start stuffing the gear up yer jumper.

Bluey, my mate is after a dirt cheap mp3 player and doesn't give a hoot if it was made in a Chinese sweatshop (he has less morals than me). Got any left? :p

got 4 packs of this the other day, c/s pretended she didnt know how it worked with pack price ect. just at it, hoping you,ll go away. sent for manager who was really nice apologised profusley and ordered a full refund;)

Arrrghhh! I had a feeling she was trying it on

One of the main reasons I gave up was cos she was adamant the bar code was wrong, that it was for finest... saying in her most patronising voice that T do sell finest and value range etc....

It did make me sus though that she kept changing her argument and my driver (Im disabled) said on the way back to the CS desk after scouring for another SEL (oh all these abbreviations, lol) that the best she could do would be DtD

Bah.. its too far to get back to the store today, will try phoning CS, but I already took the refund so dont suppose they can do owt :(

Thanks for confirming my instincts. You know, it was to be a treat for us at £10.xx / kg as we couldnt afford the stretch to £12.xx a kg

As it dont freeze it wasnt as if I was bulk buying, I was just hoping to get it at the lower - ie correct price and the RnR was a bonus! All I REALLY wanted was to be charged the CORRECT price

So, do you think every item of free stuff you've ever scored from Tesco was manufactured by well educated, middle class types who finish work at the mp3 player factory, nike shoe shop, ipod manufacturing facility and then drive their modeos home to their semi?

Get real, get a brain and engage it in gear before you start flapping at the keyboard.

If I struck a wee nerve, then good. But I never mentioned anyone by name, so why the personal attack? Albeit a weak one.
By the way the mp3 players were made by a company called netac. Have a wee look why don't you?
