  • That reminds me, anyone watch Dispatches last night? :p

Yes I think every one who saw it will realise the policy of your employer, every little helps ,the one who treats you so well and puts the views of the community first, (after building the store first of course)

Lol! I am shocked by what you're telling me, I get on with all the staff in my store and I feel disgusted that they would feel swearing at any customer is acceptable. I would never do such a thing, I am friendly, remember!:p

Maybe you weren't on duty that day, so I have to give you the benefit of the doubt on that one.

But your store was, and still is, an absolute disgrace - besides the obvious pricing integrity issues, some of the staff are extremely rude and unhelpful, the toilets are dirty and the shelves are often devoid of basics like bread and 4 pint bottles of milk.

If you look carefully as you drive up (over the little roundabout) you can see them playing on the pool table in the staff area.

Lol, that would probably be right, although I just go stright back onto the motorway and back into the City Centre. I'm really disappointed you feel our store is a disgrace because I do my very best to make sure the customer is happy (including up until now R+Ring through the nose!). It's also a pitty that you feel the toilets are not clean, since it's such a new store too!

I was just trying to make it clear from Tesco's point of view. I'm obviously being flamed for that by the people who used to take advantage of the policy in the first place...and I'll stop myself there.

You're talking in the past tense, trust me it ain't over, just a new challenge.
  • edit...

I never believed R+Ring was a way of "moneysaving", and I still do not. I invite you to shop at Sainsbury's, ASDA and Somerfield from now on.

    Tom

...and before anyone else says it, I'm simply giving my personal views about the withdrawal of the policies and my mixed feelings about it.

Look, even Tesco's own staff are telling you to shop elsewhere! I wonder what Mr Big T would say if he could identify you - which, of course, he can.

Am I dreaming or has TE really indentified his/her store on a public forum with over 1,000,000 monthly visitors??? PS Could someone PM me the name of the store, if it's within a 100 miles of me, I'm there!

Include me on that PM list! ;)

Be a nice end to the policy having loads of MSErs turning up in his store. Especially once we say "we were told to shop elsewhere by one of your employees, glad we didnt though as he also said his store is full of misprices!" :rotfl:
    Missing Tesco R&R since Feb '07 :A & now a "Tesco veteran" apparently! ;)
