Why not "look forward" to doing your job properly and sort out the sloppy price integrity in your shambles of a store, then you wouldn't have to tell people anything as they wouldn't get overcharged.
You're basically admitting you can't do your job properly in the first place.0 -
Tesco_Employee wrote:I am pleased to announce that from 11pm 19 February 2007 there will be notification on the top of each till receipt informing customers that our refund policy has changed and is being rolled out during this week with all stores adopting the new policy by MONDAY 27 FEBRUARY 2007.
The immoral (golden R+R) people of this world have finally succeeded in pushing Tesco to withdraw this policy to the detriment of the genuine customers most pleased when they are informed they will receive a refund and be allowed to keep the product.
I am looking forward to "regular ""Customers""" faces when I inform them they will no longer be receiving their R+R, and will simply be receiving double the difference overcharged.
I never believed R+Ring was a way of "moneysaving", and I still do not. I invite you to shop at Sainsbury's, ASDA and Somerfield from now on.

Monday the 26th, Doofus. If you are going to try and be clever, at least be clever.
1001? Standard till operator number?

<Quote Tesco Employee:
I'm not saying I can tell the difference between a seriel R+Rer and a genuine surprised shopper, I'm just saying that the majority of genuine customers were more than happy when they got the full money in their hand, and looked puzzled..(which was funny at times ) Quote>
I think it will be the CS staff who will be puzzled, trying to work out double the difference. It's not that difficult surely, but rockyrose got 3 wrong amounts back today (in 3 different stores) all in her favour!
The meat/fish overcharges, which are almost EVERYWHERE, will be fun!PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

I was just trying to make it clear from Tesco's point of view. I'm obviously being flamed for that by the people who used to take advantage of the policy in the first place...and I'll stop myself there.
I hope you appreciate that because prices in store change daily it's really hard for 100% of them to be right 100% of the time. I do know in most stores there's a whole department devoted to getting this right, so appreciate your point that it seems strange mistakes are still happening!0 -

Too right! I can't wait to do a marathon steak and salmon run and see them punching the buttons on their calculator. I sincerely hope all CS staff got a grade A in GCSE Maths, cos they're sure as hell gonna need it......0 -

I'm giving my opinion on the policy changes from an employee's perspective, and I'm being flamed.
Anyway...back to the misprices...0 -

No, you are being flamed for the confrontational manner in which you choose to post.
You are not a spokesperson for Tesco. The views and opinions you post here are your own.

Thanks for clearing that up Constantine, I'll reiterate I am simply sharing my view from an internal point of view. I don't believe that is against the rules of the forum, but it is more likely flaming might be.0
