Dear_Mr_Echo wrote:Potential Xbox360 R+R. I posted about this on the other thread a couple of days ago apologies for the repeat but I just want to clarify a couple of things and wondered if anyone could help.
There is one small shelf with about 6 360 premium DVD cases on it - only one of these cases has a picture of PES6 on the front but other than that it doesn't mention anything about the game or if it is a bundle. The shelf just has one white SEL of £279.99. So my question is... is this actually a 360/PES6 bundle and if so are they scanning at £299 now? The barcode is different to the barcode on the 'plain' premium cases.
If anyone can clear up that for me, obviously I would be quite a grateful little chap!
thanks
Your problem is that you are clearly buying a different product one with PES6 the SEL only mentions the premium xbox not the xbox with Pes6, You will find loads of stores with no SEL's for the bundles Ive seen 2 today, it doesnt mean I could pick a bundle up and expect to pay the price of the non bundle xbox. If you want to try it then go for it but dont moan if you are refused.0 -
Well I'm not a moaner so that wouldn't happen
I might go and see what happens tomorrow. I'll take a closer look at the SEL first - the whole thing was just a bit vague really.
cheers both of you"Whatever happened to string?"0 -

The wide variation in the standard of CS is a real problem. Those of us who have experienced poor CS and poor managers are much more likely to make formal complaints, even if the policy stayed as it is now.0 -

http://www.verylittlehelps.com/forum/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=3880 posted above surely proves that the Price Integrity Dept is nowhere near enough Due Diligence. Overcharging runs deep in the Tesco psyche. Nothing will get rid of it- not us, not PI, not India, not Dundee, not Trading Standards, nor any amount of refunding. Let's just play their game, as ruthlessly as they run their business.0

How precisely does the post show no due diligence?
What is seems to show to me is a bunch of PI staff that are peed off with ever increasing workloads...some of which seem to happen for no apparent reason. It does not show people that are not willing to do the job required of them or people that are hell bent on overcharging people.
as for this.....Overcharging runs deep in the Tesco psyche.
What a complete load of tosh. Are you imagining some kind of overcharging seminar that all employees must attend or something?Fight Poverty - Hit a tramp!
I don't exist, it is merely your imagination.

I thought we'd agreed not to print lists like this as we already know that Tesco use this site to correct mistakes, so although you're making it easier for us, you're making it less likely to find them because Tescos will use your list?0 -

I think you will find that Tesco frequent the EPH forum too.0 -
Today I bought 4 of the PSP games stickered £19.94, charged £19.97. At customer services, when they were processing the refund, they pointed out that on the bill the multibuy 2 PSP games for £30 quid offer had kicked in, and my heart sank. On the bill, after the mulit-buy savings had been deducted, I had only been charged £15 quid for each game, but I hadn't noticed this on the reciept.
However, the customer service person still refunded me £60 for the 4 games, explaining to her supervisor over the phone that there had been a misprice based on the £19.94/£19.97 difference.
I'm sure the customer service person got this all wrong and I shouldn't have had a R&R on this.0 -
If Tesco ARE monitoring these sites and rectifying them why not post phoney
misprices? That would keep them at it.Think not what MSE.com can do for you but what you can do for MSE0
