Understand what you are saying, but if my 5% was nearer 1%(as i was going to say) and your estimate of 16,000 is a lot less(which i cant believe are actually actively against Tescos)(just realised that this thread has only been viewed 13,478 times anyway)(so divide that by 10, then find 1%)...then the figures are fantastically less..........I honestly dont think people will bother.

TBH over the months I have been posting on here, Ive only really seen half a dozen or so people that were genuinely concerned about Tesco's overcharging......the rest(like me) were just in it for something to do, and make life a little easier.

I agree. It seems to take a lot to push someone to go to the bother of contacting trading standards. I have had the pleasure of dealing with them a number of times, only once that I can recall over a pricing issue. They sided with the store. It is worth remembering that TS are not the "consumer champion" that I think some people assume they are - the ones I have dealt with have always been very fair and impartial, as much there to help the retailer as they are to support the consumer.

I am far from a legal expert...but my understanding is that being able to demonstrate Due Diligence - that routines are in place to prevent miss prices - acts as a legal defence for any mistakes that do occur.
Who or what was I before you came in to my life
    I am not sure

Its so nice to be back :D

    Constantine,

There has been a rumour doing the rounds that Tesco will be ammending the 'Our Promise' to 'double the difference' on over-charged products from next month.

Given that you are one of a very few Tesco employees with any credibility (IMHO of course) on this forum - can you comment?

    Cheers my man,

    Duder

I've got a nasty feeling he'll ignore anything not to do with the "green initiative". Anyway, ASDA has been green for ages, Sainsburys is orange, Morrissons is yellow and Tesco is red :)
    Can I help?
