I thought nobody would ask. I have plenty more like this. This is Sooty. He enjoyed his Felix R&R and is looking forward to the next one.

    just a quickie.
would these misprices be the same in each store?
ie. if x was mispriced in store A it would also be mispriced in store B, C & D etc.
    thx.
i bought some teabags from tesco, but saw later that asda had them for 20p less a pack. I know tesco don't price match so i'm gona go for no quibble refund.
I dont have to give a reason do I.

You're going to stand in line for 20p?
  • I get how you can get a refund on an item if the SEL says one thing and it scans higher, but from the comments here it sounds like for a lot of the meat products the SEL says one thing, but the price on the actual packet you are buying says another.

If I was CS then I would say you've got the packet with the price on that's your offer & acceptance.

I'm keen to try one of these next time I'm in Tesco. What argument do you use to get the refund?

As far as I know, the scan prices should be the same in all tesco stores, however it is the failing to remove incorrectly priced SEL's and posters etc that make one store a better prospect than another.

Our local one seems so on the ball. I went in especially to get the Pink CD misprice I saw on here this week and there was no sign of the incorrect offer sign. I hope the manager doesn't employ someone to read this board :rotfl:

You could say 'I thought it was the price on the shelf.'

I'm glad I'm not the only one, I have been keeping a beady eye out for misprices, but can't find any. The whole chickens that were mentioned on here yesterday were my reason for cooking this Sunday!! When I got to my tesco's there were no SELs in place at all!!

My tesco staff must be well on the ball. Also I asked about the goody bags which have been mentioned, "they're all gone now"! Urghhhhhhh
