There are two SELs one right one wrong, re was charged the correct one so tecnically he was not overcharged, however the failure to remove an old sel means that he can claim his money back, by not being overcharged.

It doesn't really matter does it.

And where did you fabricate that crap from?

Do you even know what a SEL is?

If you were charged 7.25 a pack, and the SEL states 6.95 that IS an overcharge, doesn't matter what the packs are flashed.

Its like Sirloin, packs are clearly marked 16.98 each, but yellow SEL states 13.98. An overcharge!

So what were you actually charged on your receipt as you don't tell us?

If you were charged 6.95 a pack, its right!

    Thats absolute rubbish

Yes, I was charged more (£7.25 per case) than was on the SEL(£6.95 per case), but wasnt overcharged.....as the SEL was incorrect, and the correct price WAS £7.25.

I won my case (6 times) by explaining I had been charged more than it said on the shelf.................although the shelf(in this case) was actually correct.

The law states, they must charge the lowest price on display......it doesnt matter whether the lowest price on display is correct or not....in this case it was incorrect.
    Couponing....."every little hurts"

Half of the people can be part right all of the time, Some of the people can be all right part of the time.
But all the people can't be all right all the time. .........I think Abraham Lincoln said that.

    I had 32 case of this coke....none were mispriced......why.....how did i get them,then

Well basically, the last coke offer was £6.95, and the coke was flashed £6.95, the next batch came in flashed £7.25........but were put out under the old sel of £6.95, as the people putting them out didnt realise that a new sel should have gone out with the new stock.

While I agree that some misprices are "robbing" people, the coke is not an example of that, as the price should really be £7.25............it was the SEL that was wrong.

I never claimed I'd been overcharged, I told them I'd been charged more than was stated on the SEL.

Tell me where this states that there are two SELs please?

Wait a minute here, how you you say that a SEL is incorrect?
  • Look.... the coke was flashed and scanned at a higher price than the SEL. As the policy states that you are overcharged if you pay more than displayed on the product or shelf you get an r&r. Paid more than on the shelf, therefore r&r.
