Tesco misprice discussion area part 17

A friend of mine works for a sign writing/printing company and he mentioned to me they had a big job on for 1300 signs for tesco. I asked him more and he had a look next day and told me it was a Customer Services notice with a big long list of stuff on it about quality, returns etc. This made me sit up and listen, and after explaining the R&R thing to him he went in and checked them out to find that the 'Fi things don't add up' bit had been changed to say 'we will give you twice the difference back' (I think this is what ASDA do?).0

If you do the job corectly then there's nothing to worry about.
But if you're (generally speaking, not you personally) the actual Tesco member of staff resposible for removing a ticket price, and it stays there wrongly, for up to 6 ruddy days, take the 7.25 24 pack of coke for example.
Then I'm sorry that member of staff is a numptie, and so is the supervisers and managers above them, they all share responsibility.
So my thinking is Toscos should blame their numptie staff and not R&Rers.
Aussiebird, if you keep on top of your job, then Tosco should promote you, and demote and re-train the numpties.
I had 32 case of this coke....none were mispriced......why.....how did i get them,then
Well basically, the last coke offer was £6.95, and the coke was flashed £6.95, the next batch came in flashed £7.25........but were put out under the old sel of £6.95, as the people putting them out didnt realise that a new sel should have gone out with the new stock.
While I agree that some misprices are "robbing" people, the coke is not an example of that, as the price should really be £7.25............it was the SEL that was wrong.
I never claimed I'd been overcharged, I told them I'd been charged more than was stated on the SEL.Couponing....."every little hurts"
Half of the people can be part right all of the time, Some of the people can be all right part of the time.
But all the people can't be all right all the time. .........I think Abraham Lincoln said that.

If you were charged 7.25 a pack, and the SEL states 6.95 that IS an overcharge, doesn't matter what the packs are flashed.
Its like Sirloin, packs are clearly marked 16.98 each, but yellow SEL states 13.98. An overcharge!
So what were you actually charged on your receipt as you don't tell us?
If you were charged 6.95 a pack, its right!0 -
I'm not saying don't do it I just tend to only get that which I want or need. I can't stand the stuff so personaly wouldn't buy it. If however a similar deal came up on grapefruit barley, I'm in there.;)I had a plan..........its here somewhere.0
