Not a problem for me .. still would have had a couple of free dvds today with the 'new policy' in force!
just have to wait and see.............................. the way some of the stores I visit act, they will be leaving the old policy signs up for months to come!
If it changes it was good while it lasted , if not carry on r&ringTB0 -

Yeah, yeah. Heard it all before and it all sounded credible enough then too.
I mean no disrespect, but I'll believe it when I see it as nobody has been able to post any actual "evidence".
However, just in case, I'm making sure I visit plenty of stores in the run-up to Monday - for old time's sake, you understand :rotfl:0 -
wjnjackie, i intentionally r&r all the time. just a bit surprised you havent admitted to doing the same.0

Trawled around all the dumbass cornish tescos last week and week before... and guess what ? I wiped `em all out of all their coke and all their chicken ! Just absolutely cleared the shelves each time........oooooooooooooooh ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhh Happy Days ! Not to mention the games, webcams, routers, legs of lambetc etc etc.... Fcuk.. I could go on all day.
Only one problem with it though... Getting sick and tired of chicken and lamb ! Breakfast, dinner and tea ! Had to throw 40 cooked chicken breasts out for the seagulls today.. and they aint even as greedy as MEEEEEEEEEEEE ! I am the greediest man in the land !
Hi Postman:hello:  :think:Long Live Rock And Roll0 -
Just to add a new theory to the mix...
Whilst obtaining a refund on some overcharged steak today, I had to involve a manager. As the csa was changing shift after me, the new csa kept reminding the old csa and the manager about the NEW policy.
I queried this with the manager and apparentlythey will be taking name and address for all r&rs. When I asked what they would do with this info, she said that T would store it and if they noticed customers being repeatedly o/c they would contact them to help with their shopping
Don't know if that's the true change or only part of it, but I thought I'd throw it in the debate.

Why the surprise. If I need something that is mispriced, I will buy it in the hope of getting my money back, yes. But I don't run to Tescos every time DVDs/consoles/games etc are mispriced. But good luck to everyone who does! :beer:If at first you don't succeed ........Alternative autism therapies should be free!!

If it had been in Asda they would have got a £2 gift card, that is if they persuaded the customer services desk that they were entitled! Tesco have served their customers well with this policy for many years and I admit that I have enjoyed the occasional free meal or bottle of wine due to it. I make the point that on each occasion I intended to buy the product and was not only willing to put it in my basket if it was R&R.
If the policy does change, I believe it will be the fault of the professional R&Rers.
Totally agree...Damn those serial RandRers.Couponing....."every little hurts"
