right where can we scour next to get hold of one of these lilttle beauties !! oos everywhere !!
I got the impression HP website might have some on Friday.
  • I just thought i'd click on the original link in the OP out of interest and saw a google ad at the bottom re cheap ipads. I clicked on it and it took me a website called dealfun.co.uk which is an auction site. Electricals seem to be selling for silly money - just saw an Acer notebook go for £18! Anybody know what the catch is? You know the old saying - if it looks too good to be true....??
  • Its probably one of those sites where you buy bids e.g. £1/bid but the auction keeps going until there is no one bidiing. The catch is that 30 seconds (for e.g.) is added every time someone bids. In this way they make a fortune and can sell cars for less than £100!

No such site .co.uk but there is a .com

Probably a penny auction site and stay clear where you pay to bid

Well Done, I hope you are successful in securing your order. I've always found Comet very fair to deal with. They have more or less promised you your Touchpad and taken your money so I'm sure they will honour it.
    Good Luck

    Thanks you fingers crossed x

Yep I hope these sites are made illegal in the future. Too akin to pyramid gifting schemes IMO.

Got mine...only one in my Argos apparently and they were upset when they realised it had been ordered in!

Their telephone line is categorically stating that there will be no more direct stock from HP
  • Just had a call from tesco and a follow up email. I ordered the 32gig at full price and they have now honoured the £115 price! Just need Amazon to do the same and my old man will be very happy, well only is there is a sudoko app for it!
