From 6pm tonight dixons will be reducing the 16gb hp touchpad down from £350 to £89 which if you were thinking of getting a tablet device is an absolute steal.

The 32 gig one is down from £430 to £115 as well.

while they would be great for playing films on etc etc

the apps will not be developed, so they are a bit of a dead duck

but handy for playing films on AND surfing the net

As far as I can tell, these are going to be reduced across all retailers?

Have put one on order anyway for Argos in case they reduce their price by the end of the week.

Rumour I've read is that you will be able to install Android on it.
