32gb for £155? Now i'm sorely tempted. It was £115 when the firesale was on, so an extra £40? Not bad.

That'll be nowhere near £155 by the time the auction finishes in 6 days time
  • Hp touchpad price plunge as ipad sitting pretty

It's not looking too good for those of us not to have been lucky enough to order one yet.

  • Just wanted to pop on and say a HUGE thank you to whoever it was that advised people to go to comet last Tuesday and go on the reserve list, I ordered and paid for 1 last Tuesday with the expectation of ending up with a refund but had a call today to say its arrived and have just picked it up now

Good luck to those still hunting

    Hi all

Sorry if this has been mentioned before, but I couldn't see.

I purchased the 32GB version from Amazon at full price on 22nd Aug. I've contacted them about the partial refund, and they're due to get back to me on Saturday.

Is anyone else in this position? I've got the TouchPad, but can't open it as unless Amazon refund the difference, it'll be going back!

They wont refund the difference. It's been said a few times in here (and on other forums) they are point blank refusing to refund the difference and are telling people to send them back for a refund, or keep it at the full price.

    Good luck though.

Bums, cheers for the info. I'll hold fire until I hear from them on Saturday, and may well let rip if that's their decision. If that's true it's fairly disgusting compared to other major retailers!

For the last few years amazon have been making up their rules and regulations to suit themselves as they go along without a care in the world for their customers.

Let us know how you get on.

thanks for that, but I don't think I'd qualify as I didn't register the device before 23rd August. Nice thought though!

I'll update once I hear back from Amazon!
