    We’ve been following the discussions on moneysavingexpert.com with interest, and we’ve also listened to the feedback that has come via our customer care team. We really do appreciate this participation.
    As we don’t want any of our Aquafresh Club members to feel let down, and due to the inconvenience of some Cineworld locations, we would like to offer you a complimentary Merlin Family Day Pass instead of the Cineworld voucher.
    We hope you agree that this is a very fair solution: it provides generous compensation for the disappointment you may still feel and enables us to stand by the closing date of the Terms and Conditions, allowing other people to enter and have a chance of winning. Plus, don’t forget you are still in with a chance of winning as your competition entry is still valid.

    I am happy with a day pass obviously we are not going to get a full year pass.
    Make £2 a day challenge - doing well so far.

    I am going to have a very upset child over this. She is convinced she has got lots of fun days out coming. I am anything but happy to get a single day pass.
  • I am happy enough. We at least have a nice day out to look forward to, just a shame it was an error. I didn't realise it was an error till i read it here and saw lots of other winners.
    If I cared what everyone else thought, I'd be just like everyone else, and there's already too many of them. :A
  • I think its reasonable compensation and they have made it clear this is their final offer, at the end of the day had they not made the error none of us would have anything at all and we would all just be waiting for the draw to take place. Least this way our kids get a nice day out and we are still in with a chance of winning the annual passes. I'm happy too, not as happy as I would of been with a full annual pass but happy enough! There are plenty of people on here who have entered and wont be getting the day pass, think I would be more upset if I were one of them. If I had entered a comp for a Merlin day pass and won it I would be over the moon to have won. Keeping my fingers crossed for winning in the proper draw now!

    Hi, l too received my email my daugther is disappointed but as we have a family day pass l will take her to London as promised and take her in Madam Tussads with pass and have to pay for London Eye. On positive note at least they have compensated with a day pass.:)
