WendyW I blame my mum, she really sorts her colours out depending on how much of each item she has. there has been known to be a reds/orange wash, a white wash, a green wash, a grey wash, a black wash and a lights wash that doesnt fit in with any other wash  lets just say mummy dearest is a bit OCD when it comes to washing and ironing :rotfl:
It does make the clothes last longer though seperating them out but im loathe to do it for just 1 item which is why i specifically bought my washer with the really quick wash function0 -

I am a nightmare with laundry.. which is why it cannot be delegated!
I have a white wash, an almot white wash (creams, tea towels and such) a pink wash, a red wash, a green wash, a blue wash, a black wash, baby washing is done separately too and.. I have a mixed colour wash which has those tops in that have a coloured body and white/grey/blue sleeves.. the one that are meant to look layered..
I cant stand anyone else folding it either.. they NEVER do it right.. in fact the only person who can fold it right is my mother who is just as anal as me when it comes to laundry
Baby bedding and newborn clothes on the line.. Red and blue loads in:o:o now and the jeans from the line being aired in the dryer.. it is blowing a gale out there so everything is triple and quadruple pegged.... it is seeming very very autumnal suddenly!!
OH has refused to get out of bed this morning.. though I had to be rescued from leg cramp this morning... my right arm was completely dead and I got cramp in my left leg and couldnt sort it.. it was SSSSOOOOOO painful!!!!!
Best check on the mini beast.. she is very quiet suddenly :eek:LB moment 10/06 Debt Free date 6/6/14Hope to be debt free until the day I dieMortgage-free Wannabee (05/08/30)6/6/14 £72,454.65 (5.65% int.)08/12/2023 £33602.00 (4.81% int.)0 -
I've just had a phone call from my sister to tell me that a racer i knew from years ago was killed yesterday in a motorbike race. Very shocked at the news and my heart goes out to his wife and 2 young kids and his mum and dad. I spent a year running about with them all with my then boyfriend. This fella took me on my first every motorbike ride, we went to every race he was in with loads of early mornings and late nights, we all went to england once and that was my first time over and first time on a plane. His partner was lovely and his mum made the best grub......I only knew them for a year but i was a fantastic time and i have such great memories....RIP Adrian McFarland
Flying wise i'm still sorting washing...Sometimes it seems that the going is just too rough. And things go wrong no matter what I do.Now and then it seems that life is just too much. But you've got the love I need to see me through.:j :j0 -
Hex - If you are still dealing with lots of plums (or other fruit), this thread about fruit leathers may help. https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/3450081
Breakfast eaten - just have my cuppa to finish before sticking the washing out.0 -

One canva wardrobe filled with the boys clothes, it's in our room but will do until our room is decorated. It's nice to see Rhys's clothes hanging up instead of in a drawer.
I need to keep going in the boys room so i have to kick them up to the livingroom and if one complains then they can help too. It is mostly their mess.
MrsChaos we have a big tree in the very back garden and i've been watching it change colour for weeks, it's a lovely orangy red at the minute.Sometimes it seems that the going is just too rough. And things go wrong no matter what I do.Now and then it seems that life is just too much. But you've got the love I need to see me through.:j :j0 -
Afternoon all,
Big hugs Vanilla xx
It has gone cold all of a sudden, i'm freezing. Although that could be more to do with the fact all the windows and the patio doors are open. Might stick a jumper on.
I've got a jewellery party to do this afternoon so i'm going to make lunch, wash up and get my stuff ready. Then i'll need to slap some make up on and get changed. I'm trying to leave the make up off as much as possible at the moment as my skin is terrible, all dry and spotty.:o
I might go and do a bit of weeding if i have time, there's not a lot to do, this garden's going to be much easier to maintain.0 -
Trees here are starting to turn too!
House seems quiet - DS is fishing and DD2 has gone camping in France with a friend's family.....
Another week eating the food DD2 hates:D so salmon for me and DS tonight and sausage for DD1 and OH!
Watching the athletics and have made 2 double loads of flapjack - there is a local show tomorrow and OH's cricket team will be running refreshments.....and I am required to produce much flapjack!:jFlylady and proud of it:j0
