Vanilla - you deserve the rest. Glad you're taking it.
I've researched cheap meal ideas (can only find yellow split pea dhal on that thread you mentioned, hex - did you make it with chickpeas instead?) and scoffed a bowl of noodles in broth (similar to supernoodles, but more broth and very spicy). Bath now, in case DS1 is back in time and I can go out later.0

            morning all,
was planning on a lazy day and still think i might have one, but the plan at the moment is to get all washing done and out on the line. ive got a load of whites in now, half a load of blacks to do and then a couple of red bits, but my washer will do the reds on a 15min quick freshen up wash so they are done rather than me having to wait for a full load. so once the whites are done the reds will go in when im hanging the whites out and then the blacks will go in.
i also want to get the bedding stripped and changed but im having a niggly back day so that might be scrapped as i can manage the duvet and pillow cases fine, i just struggle with the sheet, but then its nice and sunny and blowing a gale here as well so it might be best to just work through the niggles and get it done.
i WILL sort out a couple more junk bags from the spare room and have a gentle flutter downstairs but i think for the main part im going to be sat on my bahookie doing cross stitch :j

I am so glad to see someone else does a red wash! :j As I have girls we tend to get alot of pinks, reds and purples which I do together but it's taken me years to get my mum to see it my way  I use to stick them in the dark wash but after a red t-shirt turned a pair of grey/ black fade look jeans purple I decided to stop
DD2 had a friend to sleep last night and they're suppose to be going to a drumming show at lunch time but if she hasn't done her jobs she won't be going! Baring in mind she's had all week to do them!
I plan to finish my room first, then the living room and kitchen. The bathroom is DD2's job this week
DD1 is going to the boyfriend's today and has nearly finished her jobs and is going to help me put some stuff in the attic 0 0
