Morning ladies,
The week just completely ran away with me...
I hope everyone is well?
It is peeing down here and looks set to stay like that for the day.
I have lots to do, so must stop sitting here and get on and do it.
Dressed first, then kitchen, then pop into town, then blitz.Yesterday is history
Tomorrow is a mystery
Today is a gift
That's why we call it 'The Present'0 -
Morning lovelies!
Toots :hello: xx
Been up since the crack, it's raining again and I've had two brews. Need to go and finish loading the DW and set it away, and a general tidy round.
Got a funeral to go to in an hour, my newest customer has just lost her husbandVery sad. Need to look on the map to find out exactly where the church is and parking places.
I should go into town to deposit a cheque but probs wont lol should go and get a couple of bits from M&S too, but probs wont.
Oh, I got my start date for the house - 9 January - true to form I'll be last on the list to be doneStill, at least I wont be out over Christmas, and the kitchen I've picked is super-duper, very surprised at the council, they usually have tat, but these are good quality units :T it's gonna look fab, I'm so excited, squeeeeeeeeeee :j
Gonna go and finish the kitchen off now, look at the map and get ready.

thanks Hex, I'd missed this, and my continued prayers & thoughts are with Lady L.
Nice to see you back Toots, and that you had an interesting week.
Okydokey, doggy visitor arrives at 11.30, so a couple of hours to crack on with big things, and leave smaller things to do whilst watching/playing with DS & the visitor! We have some sun just now so best throw some washing in first, and go get my list!
Laters,
MoamAlthough no one can go back and make a brand new start, anyone can start from now and make a brand new ending.... life is a WIP.
Snowball says too far away, working hard to bring it forward.0 -
Morning. Sun is shining here so I'm making sure the towels are out on the line and drying in the gentle breeze.
LW - I'm with Pigpen - find a pub, or two that you know you can get into/not too far, whatever else you need and politely but firmly say that you feel excluded from meetings that you would really like to go to - or rather ask Mr LW to do it 'cause I seem to think you really don't like dealing with things like this. Chances are that some people at least will be mortified to realise that they were excluding you through choosing the wrong sort of venue - all the more so because it is someone who is a significant contributor to the group, not just someone who kicks off who only turns out for the beer once in a while.
Yesterday became a very difficult day at the office - I have been trying to 'protect' an absent colleague (boss)ffrom possible repercussions on their return to the office all week. Yesterday the probing reached the point where I caved. Although I have been reassured that there was nothing more I could have done, and as this was never my piece of work to start with, I am feeling very guilty. Not looking forward to the new working week at all when I have to explain to said colleague that the proverbial is going to fly and the only way it's going to fly is up the chain of hierarchy.
Waiting for Mr B to surface to find out what we are doing today. This should be his four days off, but it seems he has to go and do a long shift tomorrow and possibly Tuesday, so need to make the most of the two days we both have off. Could do with a hand with a supermarket shop - but I fear that neither of us will be very enthusiastic about doing that on a Saturday - unless I can persuade him to go to the little Mr A that's opened at our end of town.
If we're staying in, think I'm going to tackle some not too energetic flying jobs (climbing a step ladder the other evening was not sensible - just as well Mr B didn't catch me!) with ankle rests in between. Oh, and Pigpen you have caused me to decide to search out a baby cardigan pattern today - will be cracking on with that later!Work is not my Hobby0 -
Morning all
We have sun atm so off to put the washing on the line and reload the WM
Flying today:
hoover downstairs
S&S bathroom and shower room
Dust DS1 and DS3 rooms
Then it is all done for the week and I can get to the packing.
Love for LL and healing vibes heading your wayThe birds of sadness may fly overhead but don't let them nest in your hair0 -
This is essential for Senior School. Especially PE kit, it is better to wear it all so the theiving little darlings can't take it from the changing rooms. DS1 and 2 both haemorraged uniform and PE kit during year 7 fortunately they never lost mobile phones as I was too savvy to let them take them to school. I have repeatedly asked for the changing rooms to be locked during lessons to prevent this but my requests fall on deaf ears:(
RANT ALERT
DS1 has nearly completed a weeks work. He was late yesterday and late again today. It's very worrying he won't go to bed at a sensible time and won't get up in the morning. It's hard enough getting myself and the 2 little ones out the door for 8.50 without having to drag him out of bed.
I'm going to buy several alarm clocks to place around his room.....
If DD1 can get up at 3am to work at the airport then why does he have so much trouble getting up at 8am:mad:
Bathrooms are sparkling, iroing mountain is getting worrying high. I have to collect DD2 from his cousins so that will eat up a large part of my day.
Re your DS we can swap if you like - I have a DS (19) who went out Thursday night, came in at 4 and got up to go to work for9am. We keep asking hhe comes in earlier but he doesn't listen....:jFlylady and proud of it:j0 -

So far the laziest morning but ds1 was up until gone 2am so he still asleep, dog was walked late but I'm going to have to take him for a quick wander on my own if he's not waking yet or he'll be crossing his legs. Then the first job of the day is empty every cupboard into a box one at a time decide what's for home and what is staying in.... Hate this job but needs doing. Once DS1 is awake I'll wander down the laundry with my bed linen
Hope you all have a good day, be on later if signal works xxOne day I might be more organised...........
