WooHoo all school shopping done...:j:j:j:j:j
I'm completely shattered now but i need to keep feeding the wm and td. The kitchen needs a quick tidy, livingroom needs a quick tidy and bathroom just needs a darn good clean..:rotfl:
Will send one child to collect dirty washing, another to clear the livingroom floor and another to put all toys away. Then they can all help me bring up the bin.....actually i think i'll do that first, then i can fill it while they get on with their jobs, i'm a mean mummySometimes it seems that the going is just too rough. And things go wrong no matter what I do.Now and then it seems that life is just too much. But you've got the love I need to see me through.:j :j0 -
Man came about the DW. I said there wasn't any water going in. He turned it on - water!! It didn't make the noise it made either  He said it might have a leak (it didn't). He said it will need a new pressure pump soon, but to run a DW cleaner through & it should last a couple more months. Pay man £40, put on DW on clean cycle. Go back a while later to realise - NO WATER! ODD NOISE!:mad: Why didn't it do that when he was here??!! Phoned him up - he is coming back Tuesday
DH decided he was 'cooking' indian for him & the girls tonight (planned all week) - so much washing up
Paella cooked by me for me & DS. I have frozen the left overs for another day
I am currently trying to eat a frog! (maybe I am full after dinner) I am trying to fill out my application for a foundation degree & need to do a bit of writingAnd this is only the application form! What am I thinking!
Ok - back to it - then I may venture into the kitchen!0 -
Why, oh why do the local branch of CAMRA insist on holding just about every branch meeting in a pub I can't get the wheelchair into? Grrr:mad:
I'm getting to the point where I feel like telling them to shove their beer score database (which I maintain for them - they email their scores to me, often in non-standard format and I put them on the spreadsheet) somewhere the sun doesn't shine! I also check the planning applications on the two local councils that our area covers every week, to check for applications affecting pubs, and this takes quite chunk out of my weekend; I'm beginning to feel somewhat taken for granted!:cool:If your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)0 -

Thank you, that's very kind. MOAM reminded me of custom made inserts for card collecting. They can be stored in ordinary ringbinders. DS1 has told me where to get them, in case he doesn't have any left from his collecting days.has nearly completed a weeks work. He was late yesterday and late again today. It's very worrying he won't go to bed at a sensible time and won't get up in the morning.
I could have written that about my DS1! He's now decided not to bother with full-time education. His solution is to work nights and study part-time with the OU. I can really see that happen!Dustykitten wrote: »Mrs Chaos sent you a msg on FB as my inbox needs a declutter on here.
We could create a swap list on the flylady part of FB
Good idea!
Another swimming lesson (and £5.60) decluttered and DS2 now has his 5m/Dolphin 2 badges! :j:T:j
These intensive holiday classes really are worth it. In the space of one week he's gone from two rings on each arm to none. He's also much happier about sticking his head under water, which is a major achievement.
LW - could Mr LW put your views forward? They really should be more considerate (or try to do without you), IMHO.0 -
LW - I think it's bl**dy rude of them to be honestl I really think you and Mr LW should point out that it is inconsiderate and insensitive for them, and that you don't really feel that you can keep doing the database etc if you aren't part of the group. I know how little you go out, and I hope they mend their ways so you get a bit of socialising in
Blood tests are back and I have to take 600mg of iron a day for the next three months. Still, hopefully that's the last problem solved and I'll feel energised and enthusiastic when it all starts working!0 -
well I have a moderately clean house but am not getting on too well with my 'back to school stuff' that I need to do grrrr!!! There is loads of stuff to do but I just can't get motivated (can't think why!!) I know that if I do it now it'll be so much easier when I start back at work BUT.......................(somebody kick me up the a***)
has anyone else put their heating on??? I was freezing earlier on today so had the heating on for a couple of hours, not very mse I know BUT I needed to check it was still working okay before the winter started so I could get it mended if it needed to be while the weather was still warm enough to be without heating;);)
right off to me my mum and dad tomorrow so need to get up (mum has alzheimers and dad is having a day off)
Night allGo hopefully into each new day, enjoy something from every day no matter how small, you never know when it will be your last0 -
LameWolf - I agree with Greenbee - you deserve more consideration and having been involved in groups like this before I know it often happens that the people doing most of the (usually boring) work get a bit taken for granted - until you point it out and threaten to withdraw your services!
Flying wise I am in no mans land this week - having decided not to do lists I feel completely hopeless and the house looks shabby… All I have really managed is trying to catch up with the laundry mountain after our weekend visiting BIL. Children driving me bonkers (this happens every now and then - is it just me?) and OH tells me at 8.00pm he is going for a pint tonight  - but on the plus side he did tidy up a bit and did the dishes before he went out after seeing the look on my face…
Need a kick up the bottom..0 -
Ps msgnomey - yes I also have heating on and have the fire lit too… I am nesh!0
