dancemum - Yes, please, and can offer swaps in return. They gave out double cards last week and I bought quite a few of the things with extra cards (because I needed them, anyway).

Ok PM me your address and I will stick them in the post as my boys don't seem interested in them.

Airing cupboard sorted and put away. I have finally started packing.
Also naming of uniforms is in progress. DS2 trousers which fitted at the start of the hols don't now. I have sprayed protector on the school shoes which bring up the question as why don't they do this at the manufacturer.
  • Prised DH away from the lappy to take DD1 to friends house (he didn't look happy!), vac'd my bedroom & landing, bought washing in (it was very heavy!!) & put back in WM, emptied hoover, picked up poo from the garden.

it has stopped raining, so i will put the most of the washing in the TD, & the stuff the can't go in can hopefully go back on the line :)

i think i will make a cuppa (DH back on laptop!) & get DS to get dressed. Need to check my list to see what needs doing next.

    Anyone up for a HHC?

When are you HHCing? I'm going to join in so I can persuade myself to empty another bag or two.

    Morning all

I got the bathroom/toilet done yesterday and vacuumed through downstairs. The weather is unpredictable but I've done some washing and hung it round indoors.

Back to the vets yesterday and they've increased one lot of drops to four times a day. But the tablets have finished (hooray). I now "only" have to treat her 16 times a day. No wonder the poor cat is fed up.

Not very warm today, I might have to get some socks in a minute.

    hi all

Well i have not posted in here for a few months - but am determined to get back on the wagon and clear up before christmas...

So DH has just gone off to work and is working all weekend leaving me at home with no car, 2 kids and dog - so i am going to attack the house and try and get a bit straighter with the hope of getting on top of things over the weekend and next week before we go away on Thursday. I need to clear up in order to find clothes to pack for the hols, plus i need to find all the uniform stuff.

We are off to North Wales for our Sun Hols next Thursday - and back home in time for kids to go to school on the 6th...

so lets see how much flying i can do before we go away next Thursday.....

So here goes - right off to find a list and get started (but i had better get dressed first and take the dog out as she has just started barking)....just what i did not need a distraction before i begin:mad:

back later to report on progress

    Afternoon all,

I'm all unpacked :j:j:j. Some stuff has just been shoved in places where i could find room so i am going to go back and create some sort of order. There's an attic and 1/2 a wardrobe full of stuff to sell so once i've changed addresses on Ebay i'll get started on that.

I've got a friend and her two children coming over in an hour so i'm going to dust, hoover the living room, wash up from lunch, sweep the kitchen & dining room and pack an ebay parcel ready for Ds1 to play hunt the post box.

    *flitting though*

Car fixed, at cost of £65. Garage didn't get the spare key programmed correctly, so car refused it. Will be chasing refund!

Slow start today, couldn't wake up. Came downstairs to find three strange teens sleeping on livingroom floor - post exam celebration I think!

Washing done, and that's it, bar a bit of tidying, and an online shop.

Very black here - what's wrong with the weather?? Lunch now I think...
