    i'm getting there slowly!
    still got to fix the lounge, do the shredding & remake dd1 bed before hoovering her room (she cleared it up before going out).

  • ok blue ikea bag done.

    is it bad that most of the stuff that i ABSOLUTLY couldnt get rid of/couldnt be parted with is tat and has just ended up being chucked?

    I dont know why its taken me this long, but pretty much all that blue ikea bag was for the bin!

  • ok thorntons bag sorted along with a sainsburys bag for life. all cds plonked into grey plastic washing basket as they are a frog to be delt with, but best not to do my frogs until the sorting out has been done.

    ive got 3 more bags for life to do and 1 tesco blue bag, and a pile of toiletries/make up to put away that i found when i was sorting. Its slowly but surely getting there. the spare room looks loads better already.

    so facebook games till half 4 then will have another potter and sort out.

    I want to tidy the hovel.... and I hurt too much to do it.. I managed a whole 5 minutes and collapsed again.. I am NOT impressed.. I have loads I want to get done while there are no beasties here!

  • it wasnt as yummy as it could have been. it was a bag filled with nice smelling toiletries and pretty nailvarnishes though, but id rather have had the chocolate :j
  • ok im done with my sorting out for the night. im going to go and cook some dinner and then vegetate in front of the telly for a bit then have an early night.

    Monday ~ Kitchen and dining area
    Extras
    Clean all the filters and door seals
    Tuesday ~ Living room, Hall and Stairs
    Extras
    Wipe the paintwork and bannisters
    Wash any windows that have been neglected
    Wednesday ~ Master Bedroom & landing
    Level One
    Strip and wash the bedding.. remake the bed BEFORE bedtime! - to be done sunday
    Level Two
    Vacuum the floor
    Dust and deweb.. don't forget the bed frame and light fittings!
    Extras
    Wash the windows
    Wipe the paintwork
    Thursday ~ Barfroom, loo and study!
    Level One
    Dust and declutter the desk.. defrag pc!
    Level Two
    Vacuum/mop floors
    Scrub the bath, loo, shower, tiles and hand basins.. shine those taps!
    15 minute filing and shredding.
    Dust and deweb and was any soft furnishings, shower curtains, bathmats etc that are in need
    Level Three
    Wash down the paintwork and any marks on walls
    Extras
    Clean any windows that are in need
    Wipe over any chairs, tables or sofas in these rooms (quite why you'd have a sofa in your bathroom I don't know :p)
    Wipe down any radiators and fires.
    Friday ~ General sorting out

    Extras
    Wash any sticky grotty windows!

    Frogs
    1. shredding -WIP
    2. filing
    3. prepare house for winter (list on preping for winter thread)
    4. install cat flap
    5. change cat details with vet
    6. more curtain things to be added to make them hang better
    7. book antenatal apts - to do 3oth august when next at hospital
    8. load all cds on computer and then copy to hard drive and then music magpie the oldies
    9. put all dvds onto spreadsheet as bought duplicate today that didnt realise OH had

    sorting out stuff

    1. chartity shop/clothes bank/shoe bank stuff in babys room thats already sorted

    <<loud scream>> Head stone not on grave, not happy, neither is SIL, que 2 irate females onthe phone to the stonemason, who assures us it will be there, q me telling him in no uncertain terms no final payment till it is there and installed!! and he agreed.

    WM is on
    a 3 hour trip back from Norfolk has just taken nearly 4 and half hours, the traffic is horrid, the weather is even worse.
    12.5kg sack of spuds bought for £3, and aload of other veg off the farmer, very mse.
    Beds are changed
    Toilets are bleached

    Nephews (18 and 22) chatted to, and their lovely GF's, both of whom seem very nice.

    Off to shop and cook dinner
