Hi all, sorry not had a decent signal to be about much. I read some when I have a normal mobile signal but the speed is worse than dial up so I get annoyed and failed to post a few times as it times out

I've decided to stay away another week as those on Facebook will no doubt know, I'm just not ready to go home yet. This years been damn awful and I've a lot to tackle when I go home so I'd rather feel more ready than I was. Maybe a little is avoidance. I've slipped up a little in that I don't know what I need for the return to school for the boys and will have 5 days when I get back to sort it. If I panic too much I'm only 35 miles from home so can go back. No point asking DP to who has gone home for work as he'd have no idea. I think he's also realised I'm not ready for home yet and encouraged me to stay. He's coming back down on Monday afternoon/evening.

No car so might bus it into Middleton in teesdale on Sunday for the farmers market, walk the mile into the village for the car boot sale on Monday too, so that means tomorrow is cleaning day! This van needs another good gutting, decide what needs to go home and what's staying in. I've washed the boys kip bags but I need to do our bed linen. There is a lending library on site, just a small amount donated by visitors butill deposit all our used & unneeded ones there tomorrow. I've read 5 magazines today so I must be finally relaxing, ok they were car & caravan ones but unheard of for me

Time to go, speak soon xx
One day I might be more organised...........

    Gosh!

    Did my HHC
    (ironed)
then, having chivvied colleague (the other half of Y3) to join me went into work. We still haven't finished BUT this is because we are sorting and clearing so
all felt pens checked. they all work (all duds thrown) and the all have correctly coloured tops;)
    board wipers labelled
    rulers labelled
pens have been checked but foprgot to take the back; they're ready to label
all tables now have tray (each child has a tray)
    the trays are clean
each tray contains a MATHS MAT - with a number line, a hundred square, a multiplication square, a Place value chart and the words for multiples of 10, teen numbers & words and thousands
    They are colourful
    they are laminated
and we designed & made them today!
    numeracy books labelled
literacy books labelled (2 sets) with targets group stickers...colleague v. pleased as we have got so much done. One more afternoon should see it finished for definite. Classroom looks better than it ever has, what with the new furniture. We still have board to back and work (from transition day) to put up.

    we LEFT at 6:30!

    came home
    stripped & remade beds
    had a shower
Don't put it DOWN; put it AWAY

  • just a quick post

Thanks for all the good wishes -
I had an interesting week but I am very fatigued as I am not used to being on the go the whole day and having other people around all the time - it was a beautiful area and it was dry everyday - most people went hill walking in the afternoons - it did unfortunately open some wounds and issues that I need to deal with when I have energy - probably after my next treatment. but on the whole it was good and my flylady skills were well tested (it was self catering)

    - hope you are both settling in and getting organised in your new homes - I hope you will both be very happy there.

that is ridiculous - why tell you that its ready knowing tht its not and that you will come over to see it given whats already happened - what an idiot he is- I hope its sorted soon - I would be tempted to withhold the final payment until you have seen it - what if there was a mistake on it? (((hugs))) for you both for such a distressing and infuriating day.

hex will be watching ebay for the children:rotfl: I love the image of the suits being packed away and DH having a whole 'new' range of work clothes - I bet there are loads of bits you could ebay to boost the coffers?

froddy have a great time at Reading - hope the weather is good for the festival

Triker hi honey - I am ok just very fatigued - been away on retreat for a week - hows you and I hope you have been good?

    bed now

    back Sunday if not before
    Peace will be mine
could do better - must try harder

Thanks for your support, people - I thought perhaps I was being unreasonable (wheelchair friendly pubs aren't that common) but it really is getting silly; we haven't actually attended a Branch Meeting in months and months - Mr LW refuses to go on his own, not sure why.:D

Toots good to see you back.

Off to bed methinks - I have to be at the GP surgery at 08:30 tomorrow, and getting bathed and dressed before that will use up quite a few spoons.:o

I can only think of one pub here that is not wheelchair friendly.. your business is as necessary as everyone elses.. and lets face it.. you can drink far more and no fall over.. fewer forms :p ..

Could you write to/email them and tell them why you are unable to attend and suggest venues where you could gain access? I am sure you know all the good places that are wheelchair friendly.

I finally finished 3 cardigans.. it has taken all evening and I need to buy buttons for Squeaks but they are done :D Now to start the next 4!!

Up and breakfasted. DW on (should have done it last night). Trying to summon up the energy to wash, dress and get ready to head into London for a long-delayed haircut. OH's cold appears to have arrived here even though he stayed away... I hardly go out, so how on earth have I managed to encounter a germ?

Looks like a lovely sunny day, so I might head off early and potter about before my appointment. If I don't feel like shopping I can at least sit and have a coffee somewhere nice. My DB is coming over later to remove the cot that's been in my shed for the last couple of weeks, so I'm hoping to be back in time to see him.
