  • I have been to town. Letter (frog) posted, parcel posted, form handed in to bank & cash paid in. i also bought some blueberries & plums from the farmers market as i was passing. DH popped into Sainsburys to buy a joint for tomorrows lunch, and some veg :)

I am assisting DS in trying to connect to XBox live. Why isn't it ever simple  Waiting for updates to download (it's brand new, what is there to update?!)

DH has started dinner, and has gone out with MIL to walk the dog. Heavens have just opened, but hopefully they were still in the car!!

Waiting for DD2 to remove wet towels from bedroom, as I can't get in the door

I have been a good little flylady

this is what I've doen -

put all decorating gibble back in loft (by myself so it's all round the hatch:rotfl:) I can't haul myself up there and I certainly wouldn't when I'm in by myself!
    taken ladders to shed
    washed cay litter tray
    cleaned kitchen
    mopped bathroom
put DS's boots, shin pads and strappy things in shed (to air because they are whiffy)
    put ironing away
ironed another lot (bedding straight from line); put upstairs in front of window to air on maiden (maiden airing in front of window can be seen on google actually - on another day!)
moved bunny and run into shade
    cleaned out my gerbils
put school (wet play) lego in shed. Handful of soda added to wash means it looks REALLY clean!
pegged out 5 washloads altogether today (today's and yesterday's because it rained and I was being stingy ;) see siggy)
    washed mop bucket
    put recycling in car
opened mail, shredded, put to one side to deal with later or binned as appropriate
responded to e mail from DD who is ordering clothes, on sale, from catalogue - her dad gets staff discount
chatted to Mum back from Budapest - row with young ticket collector on train. Mum had free travel ticket as pensioner, even though not Hungarian pensioner. She had no ID having not been told she needed ID. Turns out the ticket collector DIDN'T BELIEVE SHE WAS OVER 60 -so she was flattered. Dad also had HIS age disputed.

At least TWO of my neighbours and the lady in the chemist have referred to her as my sister.

    *sigh*

she's going to be WELL chuffed even though she did think she was going to be arrested. Have told her to carry ID in future (copy of passport;)) and to get some wrinkles. :rotfl:She's 74. We'll never hear the last of this...oh and don't tell her I told you!

Hi flyladies. Does getting off ar*e and doing some paid work count as flying? Its been piling up for months:o BD to blame.

Anyway did some of that and replaced useless Polar running watch with Garmin from fleabay. (Has GPS so can cope with different speeds - running or walking dog. Polar is set by stride length. Mental note - fleabay Polar watch when get home.

Parents not too bad. Haven't had the 3rd degree and have stayed out of their way most of the day. Tomorrow could be fun - walk down to Greenwich for a pub lunch. Just what I need - temptation.

Valli - :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:I knew I was getting old when I started feeling it was a complement to be ID'd in Mr T.

    Evening all

Had a lie-in and then a family trip to costco (with OH and DS2). Then DS2 and I carried on at Mr M's and in our little town centre. All shopped out now. I've fed the family incl cat and will make myself a sandwich in a bit. Doesn't look like I'm going out tonight (no babysitter - DS1 is in a real mood), so there's no need to rush.

I'll try to make some progress with my list.

    job applications with DS1
dry washing and 3 more loads (I think)
more e-bay stuff to NN's son
re-adverise stuff in free ads mag
    research home insurance
    set up diary/calendar
    parking fine
    de-flea cat
forms for OH (DVLA and permitted work)
[STRIKE]nag[/STRIKE] remind DS1 to look for card wallets for Disney cards
school to-do list started thinking about it
data work - WIP, almost done
    update spending record
    put shopping away
clean kitchen so I can cook

Toots lovely to see you back.
    Continued prayers for LL.
Sometimes it seems that the going is just too rough.
And things go wrong no matter what I do.
Now and then it seems that life is just too much.
But you've got the love I need to see me through.
