 I'll even drive the Flylady Bus myself!! The Branch Chairman, it seems, is perfectly happy to exclude me; from the minutes of the meetings, which we get via email, I gather he's there when they decide on the upcoming venues.:(

I can't physically dump much on the floor, as it's all on my computer (a few printed out sheets wouldn't have quite the same impact as a box full of files thumping to the ground):rotfl: but yes, I'm getting to the stage of thinking it's someone else's turn to do the donkey-work.

I think I may have a case of cabin fever:D - other than Tesco's last Sunday and the GP followed by the pharmacy yesterday, I haven't been off my home premises in about a fortnight!:o

Ted has to be exercised in the garden, as he is (and I quote from the information sheet) a "Jekyll and Hyde if taken for walks". He cannot be around other dogs, or he becomes extremely aggressive, and will try to attack any dog on sight, regardless of size. It's such a shame, because in every other way, he's perfect!:o I do know the company agent started placing him with me because our garden is all enclosed, and he can't even see through the fence if a dog walks past (which would,I gather, set him off), and he always goes home completely chilled, and happy. Don't get me wrong, I'm not complaining about having him; he's gorgeous, and I love him to bits, just explaining why I haven't been off-premises despite dog-sitting, iyswim.;)

I can sympathise with the cabin fever LW, although mine has been somewhat relieved by meeting a friend for coffee on thursday, going out for a haircut yesterday, and shopping this morning. I'm now bored, but too tired to do anything (or possibly too lazy...)

I think a letter to the national level of the organisation (or their national publication) explaining that you are giving up your role due to persistent discrimination on the grounds of disability should shake a few thing and people up. Voluntary organisations have to abide by DDA legislation too... Don't have any qualms about making things uncomfortable for the branch chairman, as he obviously isn't worried about how he makes you feel.

How about a memory stick flung onto the table (or the ground) in the way gentlemen challenged each other to duels?

Maybe you could spend a bit of time this afternoon, planning a small outing for when Ted has gone home. A nice pub lunch somewhere quiet?

Ah, that's good. She'll feel better in her own familiar surroundings than the impersonal atmosphere of the hossy, I'm sure. I don't do FB, so would someone be kind enough to pass on a very gentle Wolfy (((HUG))) to her for me?:o

You lot really are a great group to have on your side - I really feel for the Chair who is currently so unaware of the growing pending wrath of The Flyladies of MSE! knuppel2.gif

I guess the question is LW, do you want to do this work, do you enjoy doing this work, and would you still be able to enjoy CAMRA without it - joining in as and when you can get to venues - and spending the extra time on things that you would rather do for yourself and Mr LW. Maybe the threat of you walking out on the job - and the Flyladies descending, would be enough to wake up the Chair.

(Starts loading GoogleMaps to check directions to LW-Land).

I had a bad ankle night - and have fallen down a hole that Mr and Mrs Dog kindly dug for me in the lawn today - whilst trying to re-peg down my errant washing. Probably time I went and brought it in - should think it's dry several times over.

Taking things steady, so have whisked around the living room, and made a cake - ingredients are running low to the point of having to check the whole recipe before starting anything now - Mr B didn't fancy a trip to mini Mr A yesterday - so we're not short of food, just short of the extras around the edges.

Right. Off to not fall down hole in lawn, bring the washing in, then off to replenish the bird feeders - the latest sack of seed seems to be sending my feathered friends into a complete frenzy - I love watching them, but I can't keep up with their appetites. Then need to address the baking bombsite that should be a kitchen.

Everything is being tackled in half hour chunks.
