Still trying to fathom menu for tomorrow. not sure on breakfast as got to be up at stupid o clock and I never feel like eating first thing and will be out and about when I would normally feel ready for breakfast so think it would be a good idea to have a red or green day so that I can benefit from two healthy b options.

Thinking of having a hi fi then taking acti^ia yogurt and muesli (second HEB) for late breakfast.

Will be back for a late lunch - thinking of having cold pasta with lettuce leaves, cucumber, pepper, HEA of feta, syns in peppperdew peppers and more syns in fat free vinegrette.

If i treat tomorrow as a mix to match day then steak for tea ? or stick with green and have slimming world chips.
  • A very strange thing happened to me tonight.

Daughter was cooking pasta for dinner with a red pesto sauce and I fancied a bowl of salad to go with it :D. Not only that - but I actually had some in the fridge.:D:D This would never have happened a couple of months ago. Something must be rubbing off on me.

I won't mention the slice of bread and thin scrape of butter though.
I need to make a new list for 2014
think of something to put on it!:rotfl:
Try harder for 2014 as I never managed it in 2012 or 2013

  • Hi guys, thanks for all your support and advice.

I put the wrong time down on my previous post - I work from 3pm to 11pm, so it's too early to have my dinner before I go to work; we also don't get a break - we work through the whole 8 hours and eat whilst we're working - I know it's a recipe for disaster!

ON the plus side, I had a good day yesterday, I have decided to stick with the extra easy plan for a while and see how I get on - I get a bit rubbish when I have to start concentrating on points and what I am and am not allowed etc - thats the whole reason I joined SW.

So, I'm cheating already and allowing myself an extra 5 syns when I am working - partly because of the ridiculous temptation and also because I run around for 8 hours, lifting and carrying etc. I know some people will think thats really wrong, but after 15 years of dieting and just managing to put weight on, all I really want to do is have a healthier way of living that I can stick to.

So Friday was 12 syns :j and yesterday was 19 syns. :)

I'm going to WI every friday.

    Cuckoo. xx

Wow Magnolia thats fantastic-well done you! :j I can't wait to have have lost that much. I say can't wait rather then would like to, because I will loose that weight and more.

I have actually lost loads of weight before about 15 years ago, nearly 10 stone infact. But... I was really silly about it, calorie counted beyond belief, was permanantly starving, was killing myself at the gym. It was a sheer battle of mind over matter but I never addressed my overeating problem. I stopped doing it but only ever saw it as a temporary thing which we all know doesn't work.

Over the years I've put it all back on and more and have a very long way to go. The reason it's taken me so long to do something about it is that I was frightened of loosing it again then putting it back on as I think it would finish me off.:(

I have to saw I really believe sw is brilliant in this respect, I honestly am never hungry and believe me I can eat loads! And the best bit is I can do this forever! I don't feel like I'm missing out and I don't see myself as being on a diet, I'm just eating healthily. And even though I've only just begun, the fact that I am beginning to see a new future for me, one that I thought had slipped through my fingers forever, is motivation enough in itself. I can now see me being there for my kids and seeing them grow into adults ,which I have to be honest I wasn't so sure of a few months back.

Anyway, not sure why I've written all this really, I guess it's easier sometimes to say things on a forum then it is to people you know lol
Anyway, sorry for whittering, well done everyone and have a good day!
  • Morning all

Well week one back on plan has been mixed, i clearly havent got into the habit of writing down what im eating so thats not great. Was at a wedding last night and had 2 glasses wine, 2 vodkas and 2 jagermeisters so cant imagine that will have done much good! And a bacon sarnie on white bread ooops

Anyhow, i did get some nice compliments from people saying i'd lost weight so thats a good motivation to start the week with. WI reports 1lb gain but its * week and so not worrying too much. Aiming for a 100% on plan week this week, plus 4 days of exercise.

    Today so far:
B: porridge (HEb), milk (HEa), blueberries and drizzle golden syrup (2?)
  • alm721... it doesnt sound like wittering to me... inspiring in fact!
  • Well done mags and all the other losers :j:T:T:T:T

I can't decide which day to wi, I decided on Friday but that doesn't give me many days to claw back weekend excess's of which there were many last weekend. Saturday maybe a better day although I wi today this week, 1.2lb gain due to last weekends excess's and the chinese veg curry friday [still don't know the syns on that, ANYONE??]
Must try harder this weekend, yesterday was on plan so its just today. Will be lots of superfrees but also proper quiche & flat bread but will try to go easy :o. Also got a taste for houmous [reduced fat :D] which I have with celery so thats HEb and superfree :T and surprisingly filling so a great snack :T

Good luck all & have a great sunday :A
Its not what you do but the way that you do it, thats what get results :T
