Thanks, just looking at my choices for the final year of my degree and one of my choices is chaos and fractals and wondered whether it was hideously difficult! Dont know anything about it and dont want to make a bad choice. The trouble with the world is that the stupid are cocksure and the intelligent are full of doubt.Bertrand Russell0 -

I think its all a bit theoretical and esoteric - I'm not a fan of things I can't prove or see, my little brain doesn't get the Stephen Hawking side of science:o0 -
I like that kind of stuff WW! The theory fascinates me.The trouble with the world is that the stupid are cocksure and the intelligent are full of doubt.Bertrand Russell0

Ive spent the last 2 weeks looking at my options and i'm no further forward as i dont know what the courses entail really. I have a brief summary but that is all. Hmm.. Think i'm going to have to close my eyes and point at the ones im taking. The trouble with the world is that the stupid are cocksure and the intelligent are full of doubt.Bertrand Russell0 -

Sounds like the state of my life right now!
I've had an OK day diet wise - ended up missing lunch and had a load of fruit and a bretzel instead on the trot. Dinner was mashed potatoes (done in the micro to perfection!) salad and a sausage (any idea of the syns?). Also had a lot of fruit for pudding, yum.
So my plans for tomorow are:
B: fruit yog and honey (1 syn)
L: BLT sandwich, fruit (HEB)I want some pasta if I can work out how to microwave it!
Trying to keep in budget.

Not so keen on the weigh in:eek: but hopefully that weight will be shifting soon.
All steam ahead tomorrow!!

Thanks so much everyone for the tips and support. I've heard people say exercising can slow down weight loss, but to be honest, I'm really enjoying it (although I might have overdone it a bit tonight) and its making me feel quite good about myself so I'm going to stick with it.consultant31 wrote: »I would say you're not eating enough. Don't forget that the plans are meant to be followed as they are written so that you get all the nutrients you need to keep you healthy while you slim - missing things out means that your health will suffer in the long term.
There is a 7 day menu for the Extra Easy plan on the website www.slimming-world.co.uk . Follow it for a week and see what happens
When you start to exercise your body holds extra fluid to protect your (formerly unused) muscles. This will even itself out over the next week or so. Keep the faith, drink lots of water, take your measurements and you'll be a happy bunny in no time
Thank you

Hi Everyone
Mind if I join in; I'm joining SW for the first time tomorrow night; so hopefully I can make sense of all the red/green days you guys talk about!
I did WW in 2009-10 and lost 30 pounds; pretty much all of which I've put back on
Nevermind, I'm determined to get back to some healthy eating and dust off my old jeans; living in leggings is bad for the waistline!
