I checked in my food directory, Uncle ben's microwavable rices have syns, i guess it's due to oil in it, as takeiteazy said. Same goes for straight-to wok noodles, as opposed to dry ones. They put stuff in the packages to keep it fresh and cook quickly, I guess that's why it's synned as opposed to dry noodles and rice which is freeBetty B: The Eternal Procrastinator....

Ugh just remembered, I'm going to a work do tomorrow night.... There will be alcohol so I'm planning on sticking to single spirits and diet coke.
I've also been told that food will be provided but I have no idea what!!
I had planned a green day, with fruit and yog for brekkie and a potato and baked beans at work in the fridge.
But would it be better to have a EE day with more fruit and veg if I might have a synful evening????Betty B: The Eternal Procrastinator....

Hello everyone
I'd like to join in with you, hopefully posting will get my motivation back on track. I first started SW about a year ago now, and originally lost two stone, taking me within a stone of target. In June, uni got hectic and I didn't have time to go to group, but I kept plodding on, much slower but slowly getting there. After Uni, OH and I moved in with his parents while we buy a house.
Always knew this would be hard for slimming, they always have a lot of non-SW friendly treats hanging around that are in my mouth before I register I've picked it up. OH does all the cooking so that works, but syns have been through the roof and in the last month I've gained nearly a stone. I saw myself in the mirror earlier and I looked exactly the same as a year ago when I started. I'm ashamed I've let myself slip this far this fast. No more. Back on plan now! :j
WELCOME - Try not to beat yourself up over putting the weight back on. Draw a line under the past and start as if it's your first week. Do you go to a group? There's always plenty of support here and loads of recipes on the first page of the thread. Just ask any questions you like and someone will be along to help. x0
