    Hello
I've had another flop today, my sweet tooth took over and I had a toffee crisp and a cookie. No idea on the syn count for those but more than 15 I'm sure. However, I'm not going to say stuff it, much as I'm tempted to do so, and will try and gt my mojo back tomorrow after what's been a rubbish week.
Apart from the naughty stuff, my green day has been:
    breakfast rice with a banana
cheese and cucumber sandwich with a bag of baked crisps squashed in (a, b and 5.5 which were my planned syns)
    fruit
halloumi salad with boiled potatoes (a)
I think that'll do. Will start afresh tomorrow.
Say what you mean.. mean what you say... without being mean.

Congratulations on your 4lb loss gien

Scorpiod – when I get very hungry I would go for baked beans or noodles and soy sauce to fill up on,
add some fruit before or after for your sf portion

Thank you. Will have some noodles now. Was going to have a sausage sandwich. wrote it down on my food diary then scribbled it out after it taking me to 19 1/2 syns!

  • Hey all,

just sitting here doing a menu plan, actually four :p. Mrs Ging suggested that we have four rolling weeks to make the food shopping and budgeting easier. I love SW but all the extra fruit and veg we end up buying costs us a small fortune!

    FD for today is

B: banana, strawberries, melon, grapes and ff yoghurt
L: wm pitta (HEB) with ham, lettuce, cucumber and mayo (1)
    S: Plums
D: smoked salmon, king prawns, chilli, garlic, corriander and pasta with a green salad.
S: Will be a M&S COU pudding either 7 syns or 9 depending on which I fancy :D

Does anyone else menu plan like this?

    Ging x
  • No noodles, so having savoury rice with broccoli and cauliflower.

    Hellllooooo you lovely lot :j

Gawd you've given me a lot of pages to catch up on again after a few days away :rotfl:

Well I didn't manage to get to WI last night - again  Mr Dizzy got stuck at work late so I was AWOL from group:mad: BUT I've been really good all week (except 2 glasses of white wine last night.....for which I paid dearly with a terrible bad head all day today :o)

Ooooh Oooooh and the Pooo fairies visited whilst I was away too :T:T courtesy of a batch of the good old faithful DYNOROD SOUP :T thought you might all appreciate a bit of toilet talk ......bet you:T've missed it in my absence eh ;):rotfl::rotfl:

Other news from Dizzy towers - well I went to have my graft looked at at the hosp today & its all looking LOVELY, they even removed the dressing from my leg and have left that uncovered now :D I am on track to get the processor fitted in the next few weeks......Dizzy won't be in a silent world for much longer :j:j:j:beer: AND they say I can get my hair done again in 4 weeks.....wooooohooooo ;):p;)

Well time to go unpack the bag & get sorted, hope everyone has a good evening x x
  • Hi there

I've been lurking for a while and found this thread very interesting. I joined SW at the beginning of July and have been lucky enough to lose every week - including the WI after 2 weeks away.

I was thinking of making some salmon fishcakes as I have some salmon to be used up. Can anyone point me in the direction of a recipe? I've looked at the SW website and recipe link at the beginning of this thread but not found anything there. I did once come across a link to other recipes, but can't find it now.

    Thanks
I need to make a new list for 2014
think of something to put on it!:rotfl:
Try harder for 2014 as I never managed it in 2012 or 2013
  • Well done gien,great loss.

My menu today looks exactly the same as yesterday! And tomorrow will probably look the same too....

tee hee Guns all this week I've been noting down my meals and Tuesday to Friday against lunch it said :see yesterday. Mind it was lovely, I just made a LOT (and there's still some frozen too)

I saw one on the BBC website the other day, big fat salmon fishcakes, they looked lovely. Obviously you'd ignore their instruction to fry them in olive oil, just spray them with frylight or oil and put them under or on a hot grill thingy. I can't remember how they bulked out the salmon, but whatever it was use mashed potato (real or instant) instead, lots of herbs, blah blah. Done, the SW way! :D
    :jThat's 2 stone 9 lbs gone forever:j

    thank you Slimming World!
