Well done GUNS! It's a great feeling isn't it, single figures. That's why I keep trying to lose a little more so that I am well down in the single figs and can take it easy now and thenTakeItEazy wrote: »Hi all you losers
MrA delivered [with substitutes as usual ] and I'd ordered loads of pasta n sauce and savoury rice as they were on offer. Now I'm not sure which ones are free, I think all the rice ones are free [correct me if wrong please] I got chinese, curry & golden. What about the pasta? I got tom/onion/herb, creamy tom/basil [substituted, I ordered tom/veg ] so not sure of syns here. Also ordered cheese/broc but they substituted a campbells cheese/ broc and this probably has more syns . Any help would be most appreciated thanks in advance :A.
Has ANYONE EVER got what they ordered from MrA without them substituting ANYTHING. Think I'm going back to MrT next week
My neighbours say they have no probs with Asda but I'm always too anxious to try in case they send me things I don't want ... I am very fussy. And what about fresh vegetables and fruit and stuff? Do I really trust someone else to pick them from the back (so they havent been snottily sneezed over by a kid, I saw that happen once :(:( ). And I will read what Flat Eric has to say, and consider again getting Asda to deliver.
By the way I am writing down everything I eat and Ive taken my green book into work and each time I fancy choc/crisps I flip through and CHECK THE SYNS. That puts me off right enough!:jThat's 2 stone 9 lbs gone forever:j
thank you Slimming World!

But i always weigh at the same time (first thing in the morning after i've had a wee!) So shouldnt be affected by fluctuations. I find it spurs me on too. If they are up a little it makes me determined to be super good and eat lots of superfree. And if they are down like today it gives me a buzz and i stay on plan.
That's exactly what I do. I weigh first thing in the morning after a wee!
I was 2lb lighter today than yesterday, but my weight does fluctuate so I may be a bit heavier tomorrow.:(0 -
oh ok, having read Flat Eric's and the other comments I ...erm...won't bother. I'll soldier on with my Rescue Remedy and firm elbow and do my own shopping after work:D
I have in the past though found running cheese at Sainsbury's, green naan bread at the Co-op, regularly fruit that is rotting at the Co-op ....surely the staff notice these things when they are stacking the shelves?:jThat's 2 stone 9 lbs gone forever:j

I think it depends where you live. I shop with Mr T now and never have any problems but I have read of posts about Mr T home delivery which are a bit of a headache so I guess it depends on the store and the pickers.0 -

Hi all,
I joined SW 2 weeks ago and have lost a total of 6lb. I have been invited out for a chinese meal tomorrow night and I really don't want to blow my efforts.
Could any of you lovely people give me some guidence on what would be good choices. Not keen on fish but happy to try other dishes.
Thanks in advance.SW -5, -1,0 -

You can have porridge but you would use your HEB for oats (28g) and part of your HEA allowance for the milk.
I make 'magic' porridge, which is my HEB of oats mixed with fat free yogurt (any flavour), I mix it up and leave it overnight so the oats suck up the yogurt. It's very yummy, and saves me using my HEA on milk.
