Hi all you losers
MrA delivered [with substitutes as usual ] and I'd ordered loads of pasta n sauce and savoury rice as they were on offer. Now I'm not sure which ones are free, I think all the rice ones are free [correct me if wrong please] I got chinese, curry & golden. What about the pasta? I got tom/onion/herb, creamy tom/basil [substituted, I ordered tom/veg ] so not sure of syns here. Also ordered cheese/broc but they substituted a campbells cheese/ broc and this probably has more syns . Any help would be most appreciated thanks in advance :A.
Has ANYONE EVER got what they ordered from MrA without them substituting ANYTHING. Think I'm going back to MrT next week :cool:Its not what you do but the way that you do it, thats what get results :T

I know i shouldnt weigh between weigh ins...... but i do. I actually weigh myself every morning as i find it helps me stay on track. Well this morning my scales had a 9 at the front:j:j:j:j So happy.
I also weigh myself each morning. I'm not sure it is the right thing to do really, but it does spur me on.
My DH says I should ignore the scales and go by the tape measure, but I can't seem to get my head around that
I've been away from class for 2 weeks and am due for weigh in on Monday. I am hoping to either have sts or had a slight loss.
Today's menu EE as always:
B: 2 poached eggs on 2 slices w/w toast.
L: 2 slices w/w bread (3.5 syns for extra slice), lean ham, tomato, packet of velvet crunch (4)Salmon steak, new pots, runner beans, peas, carrots, broccoli tartare sauce (2). Muller light yog.
Skimmed milk for teas/coffee. Diet coke.
May have some fruit later.0 -

Yes the wholegrain ones are 6 for a HEB but the ones you have are not and need to be synned - they will be 1 syn for every 20 calories0 -

I think people say you're not meant to as your weight fluctuates through the day and people can get disheartened. But i always weigh at the same time (first thing in the morning after i've had a wee!) So shouldnt be affected by fluctuations. I find it spurs me on too. If they are up a little it makes me determined to be super good and eat lots of superfree. And if they are down like today it gives me a buzz and i stay on plan. The trouble with the world is that the stupid are cocksure and the intelligent are full of doubt.Bertrand Russell0 -
Well done on all the great losses - really inspiring.
Gunsnbanjoes, well done, I would love to get back in the 9s - and all the trousers in the cupboard.
Circes, is that how syns are calculated then? 20:1?
Had a bit of a rubbish day here - not enough super frees, too many syns.
B: 1 slice toast, bacon brown sauce (2 syns)
L: ratatouille and couscous, cheese HEAbaked beans on toast brown sauce (2 syns)
Along the way: milk in coffee, 4 syns, sugar in coffee (no sweetner left) 4 syns, little kit kat type bar (4 but a guess).
So, not great but not a tragedy also. Plus I did do some exercise but it was mainly stength, not aerobic.
Tomorrow I am out for a night in a very posh hotel with a gala dinner so that will be a catastrophe, but I weigh in tomorrow first thing some time to pull it round.Trying to keep in budget.

I have done Asda Home Delivery - here are my thoughts here !! and here
I can't remember when I last had home delivery from them but its long enough for me to be almost tempted to try them again. BUT then I remember how on my last shop - they delivered dozens of dented tins (it was almost laughable) and how I had ordered a dozen cans of their chick pea dahl (free on sw at the time - recipe changed now - haven't checked) but what they delivered was really really dented so they did a redeliver except they delivered chick peas :rotfl: (I still have some of them in my cupboard!!) then there was the mango chuntney that all had to go back because all the lids had popped and the chutney had leaked.
The short dated of items seems to be a very common complaint. particularly delivery of items in a pm delivery that go out of date that day !0
