FlatEric - thoses posts made very interesting reading, don't think I'll shop at Asda now :D. Apart from the substitutes every week and last weeks missing items oh and the short life of fruit I was accepting of Asdas service. The drivers were always friendly and explained everything so no complaints there. CS were always polite and offered refunds but of course I've had to wait 10 days. I went to Asda [a] cheaper prices Tesco had cocked up so was miffed with them. Am seriously thinking will have to try Tesco again or try sainsburys [do odd bits but never tried a full shop cos usually expensive].
I would prefer to do my own shopping but don't drive and hubby hates shopping so refuses to take me [git :p].

Anyway back to sw - another productive day decorating, also ordered a bed/mattress yesterday for delivery today. Mattress arrives early this morning but no sign of base [comes seperately - why???] finally receive phone call this evening to say driver tried to deliver but no-one in, apparently went next door, OH NO HE DIDN'T - we are doing front bedroom so had full view of road - we live on country lane so not much traffic, would notice a lorry no trouble and NO it wasn't ordered from Asda :rotfl:. Should be delivered tomorrow but have demanded next day delivery charge refund [watch this space].
Ok NOW back to sw -
    B - weetabix hot water/milk [.5a] coffee
    L - fruit salad, activia
    Snack - mugshot
T - hm meatballs, stirfry mushroom veg pack, onion, passata, savoury rice
    Snack - s/cow [4.5], p/white [2.5]
    Syns - 7

Son comes home tomorrow, have missed him :p, not looking forward to all the washing though :rotfl:.
Its not what you do but the way that you do it, thats what get results :T

Chosen by You Chick Pea Dahl, canned, 400g can FREE!!

1 55g Asda Wholemeal pitta (HEB)

Good news Annie, website says dahl is still free and this pitta OK as a HEB.

On the weighing question, I don't weigh as we don't have scales. Threw the last set out in disgust in the fat time before before starting SW and have resisted getting more as I would be an obsessive I'm sure. I've got a pair of cotton trousers with no stretch that I'm going to use as a guide. They always feel a bit tight even now I'm at target so if they get hard to do up then I'll know I'm in trouble.:o

Changed meal plan slightly today. Had intended mash and peas (love this as comfort food) with my fish but was bothering me that I didn't have enough SFs. So I managed to forage enough bits of veg from freezer and bottom of fridge to make a little stir fry and was delish. Mmmm:)

Off to do a shop tomorrow (Mr A) but I'll be doing the picking myself.

28g porridge oats and 1 oat/scan bran is a Healthy Extra B option.

28g ready brek original and 1 ryvita dark/original/sesame is also a Healthy Extra B option.

alternatively you could syn it (not sure on syn value)

you would also need to use milk from your healthy a option if you have your porridge with milk.

    :jMorning

The work thing is looming ever closer - holidays finish on Monday - but, asides from a teeney bit more planning, I am ready (I think....:D Is anyone ever truely ready for 25 7 year olds:cool:)

So, yesterday was brill, I even went to the pub :beer:and had 3 small wines (13), so stayed on plan totally!!:T. And, I remembered my HEB :rotfl:(had crackerbreads with my soup!!).

    Today lookes like this:

B - 42g All Bran (HEB) with yogurt and frozen summer fruits

L - HM Red Pepper and Tomato soup (1 - for tom puree), apple

D - "Indian Stew" (Chickpeas, Tinned Chopped Toms, Onion, Spinach, Curry Paste (2)), and I want a mini naan (Asda) Syns anyone???

Mmmm, I've just looked at this - I might as well go green and have some more HEs...... Could have Pagen and Cheese as a little snackette...:). That would also bulk out lunch and fill me up for longer...:D

That's a fantastic loss! I wish that would happen to me!
My weight loss is very slow.
One day I am 2lb lighter then then next day I seem to put it back on
I am trying to be careful with my menus.

Perhaps its because I don't have a lot to lose?

    Today:
    B Muller light, apple, coffee.
L Chicken breast, tuna, new pots, large mixed salad, salad cream (2)
D ?? haven't decided yet but will try to be good.
    Snacks: Velvet crunch (4)
May have a glass of red later!

    Have a good day!
  • Hi all!

Well I'm back from my holidays! Got back last weekend. Had a brilliant time and came home feeling very relaxed. Back to reality now though! Had my 'official' weight-in this morning and had not put on any weight which I am pleased and amazed about! didn't really hold back on holiday as far as pizza, icecream, pasta etc are concerned so have no idea how that happened, but not going to argue with it! Now need to knuckle down and lose some more weight. I think another half a stone would be good and would get me well into the '10s'.

My menus have been getting a bit boring though - weekday lunches and dinners mostly consisting of various chicken/salmon/tuna and salad/veg combinations. Realised I was losing weight on weeks where I had hardcore red days, but I miss green and I would like to experiment more. Maybe now my holiday is over I will start to try a few different things out, without the bikini threat looming!

Have a good Friday everyone! x
