we WI at 5pm on monday, but i am thinking of going to the same class, but on tuesday mornings at 930am,
there is no class on bank holiday mondays, so i am thinking of starting to go to Tues class for the next few weeks to take me past Easter,
im thinking of my mum, she has been sitting with a half pound to loose for her 5 stone award, for 3 weeks now, and she is being soooooo good, and is just sitting at the same weight,
i think a morning class might help get her there?0 -

i have been encouraging her, the whole class is, and i so wanted her to get it, she was the biggest looser in the whole group until i over took her a few weeks back, she has come so far, dropped from a size 28 to a 18, and she is so chuffed about that....but she WANTS the 5 stone award, and i want her to get it,
she is not happy with 5 stones off, she wants to keep going!0 -

Anyone know what's with the Orlistat shortage? I saw my doc today and he was happy to give me a prescription, but when I went to the pharmacy they said there is a national shortage due to manufacturing problems. Tried 2 other pharmacies but the same problem, so having screwed up my courage to go and ask for it I still can't get it! Have looked online but it's way too expensive.
Old threads on other sites show that this isn't the first time it's gone out of stock, so hopefully it will be back sometime soon.
Any of you ladies who are already on it had a problem with renewing it?Oh dear, here we go again.0 -
I've had a really sh***y day. One of my closest friend's daughter was rushed into hospital two days ago haemorrhaging at 28 weeks. She had an emergency caesarean and gave birth to a very tiny baby boy (weighing less than 2lb).
Unfortunately this morning the poor wee thing lost his fight for life. The family are completely distraught - as you can imagine - and I've had to deal with notifying family and friends - one of the most unpleasant things I've ever had to do.
Absolutely nothing to do with SW but just had to offload.Mediterranean Mum

Ah Medmum that's so sad, poor little thing, and poor parents. My DS and his GF lost theirs at 21 wks so I know how awful it is.
Sending ((((hugs)))).Oh dear, here we go again.0 -
thank you everyone,
anyone got any tips for me to pass onto my mum?
shes 0.5lbs off the 5 stone mark, with another 2 or 3 stone she would like to loose, and she is sitting at the same weight now for 3 weeks,
we have done success express, and she feels it is far too soon for her to plateau,
has anyone heard of the SW Plan called "the 7 deadly sins"?0 -

has she tried mixing up the plan she does? like coming off EE and doing R or G instead?
is she eating different things all of the time too? if you eat the same things al the time it can slow losses down because your body gets used to it all. adding in loads of different foods can sometimes help.
if she's being really good, people i know have had losses by having a blowout. its like it gave their body a kickstart at fat burning again.0
