WE ARE NOT BAD PEOPLE - WE ARE NOT STUPID PEOPLE - WE ARE NOT WORTHLESS PEOPLE
We have an illness and we have to heal but it takes time and most of us have relapses along the way.
Can you take yourself out for a walk rather than getting on the treadmill - the fresh air has amazing powers.
OK - I know I need to take a leaf from my own book but like the rest of us we all have the answers - we just have to learn to put into practice what we all preach!!!!!
{{{{{{{{{{hugs}}}}}}}}}
Yes it's national hugs day - anyone else want some??????????
Thank you .... I think I may need to paractice what I preach!!! I went on the dreadmill but also took your advice and took my pooch out for an extra long walk....he loved it....and now I'm full of endorphines (not sure if that's how you spell it but hopefully you know what I mean)
Loving your summery of us having an illness....never thought of it like that before (not that we are poorly ill) but it is like having an illness... I managed to stop smoking with ease....just can't get the same frame of mind for losing weight just going round and round in circles!!!! (especially my waist).
Heres to national hugs day (((((((((((((hugs)))))))))))) and thank you for all of yours! :A:A

I went for my first WI yesterday and had lost 3lbs. Very happy with that as I had already lost 4 and half before I managed to make my first class thanks to all the good advice on here. My goal for this week is to cook one recipe from the magazine. I would say which one but I left it at work - doh! I had put it on my desk at lunchtime to make a shopping list for any ingredients I didn't have. I did remember the list though and went shopping on the way home. Going to make it on fri or sat evening. Somebody at my class had made the carrot cake from scan bran (website recipe) and its gorgeous. ... She had cut it into half a syn size pieces and it was enough to get a feeling of a treat0

Poor you. Do you have IBS? Hope the doc is able to help as it sounds miserable.0 -
Prudent - My tummy swells when I eat a lot of Wheat or Dairy. Turns out I have a slight intolerance to both. Another tattie hand here - I'm Scottish though - oh God I love tatties, could live on just them. My absolute fav is new potatoes but I love all tatties. Baked, mashed, boiled, new. The waxy ones (Charlotte?) that are about just now are good - or for a special treat the Tesco Finest Exquista ones. yum yum yum. I'm off to hoover up the cold left over mash from tea!Mortgage Aug 22 £280,000

Yes I was diagnosed with IBS a few years ago but seems to be really bad at the moment. Can't see what has triggered it either as haven't eaten anything different. The only thing I have had recently is cod liver oil with glucosamine, one a day. Have looked and can't see anything about side affects so not sure its anything. Am going to give them a miss for a few days to see if it makes a difference.
Oh another thing - smooth peanut butter - syns please????Its not what you do but the way that you do it, thats what get results :T

Well, WI tonight and I lost 2lbs, so I am one happy bunny now.
