Sounds yummy - do you have to make the mash first or just add the mix?
Just add it dry to the mix. I can confirm they taste so much better cold. Yes, there is an element of potato that comes out in the taste, but they are mainly cheesy goodness with a realistic texture.Emergency Fund - £8572.39 / £10,000 :: Mortgage OP 2025 - £LISA 24/25 - £3200 / £4000 :: NSD 2025 - 2 / 150 :: Books Read: 1 / 52 :: Decluttering - 4 / 1000Engaged 9th December 2010 :: Married 29th October 2015 :: Bought a House 13th January 20170 -

Hi again, I lost 1lb last week. I'm struggling to get lots of superfree into my diet though, not really a big fruit fan and no-one else in my house eats veg! So I find myself eating peas and carrots. If anyone has any idea how I can eat more superfree through the day, please let me know x
You could zap all the vegetables that no-one in the house will eat into a mush, put tinned tomatoes in the blender too, and it comes out like a lovely tomato-ey pasta sauce. Or zap some vegetables and add mushy peas and spices/curry powder and you have a "chip shop style" curry sauce. your housemates will be healthier for eating vegetables, and you won't have to cook separate meals!

Really, really, really bad day - after starting off so positively it went from bad to worse to downright disgusting - I'm so disgusted with myself.
I think I've eaten all of this week's and next week's syns in one afternoon!
Tomorrow is a new day and hopefully back on plan.Mediterranean Mum
hoping to lose 50lb by February 2013! 2st lost so far :j0 -
Hi,
Try not to be too disheartened, call it a blip, get straight back on it and maybe you will not have done too much damage.
Whilst losing weight previously my downfall was not the actual pigging out but the pigging out that carried on because I told myself that I had ruined it, when knowing full well that if I had just stopped at that point and got back on it then it would not have made much difference
Dont be too hard on yourself x
Total loss = 5 stone 12.5 lbs. / But now GAINED 1 STONE 1.5 LBS!!

so annoyed. Just wrote the longest post ever and lost it
Boo hiss to the internet.
Piglet - basically I was saying can you change your foods a bit, instead of eating bananas for example, eat plums, replace ham with chicken...just to confuse your body a bit - I've read this can work when you plateau.
Also suggested asking your consultant to weigh you next week but not tell you how much you lost. Then, when you go in a fortnight, ask her for your combined loss over 2 weeks. In my head, 1lb off in 2 weeks seems better than 0.5lb per week. Unless I have weird logic of course!!
Also - can you measure inches lost, I have read that during plateaus you can lose inches?
Good luck, you are a huge inspiration to me xx
Med Mum. - We have all been there. Write out a new plan with lots of lovely new recipes to try and look forward to your week.
I have no syns left and have entered 'danger zone'. I usually pick/syn at this time. Usually I would think sod it and have a biscuit anyway, but I might go and put some Onken Yoghurt into the freezer instead as a treat for 9pm. Wish me luck. I usually fail at this point!0 -

Red pepper and chilli cottage cheese?!?! What the hell can I use it for?!?! Dont really like cottage cheese (not sure why I bought it really!) I find the texture a bit "gaggy" so don't think I want to eat it with a salad etc but don't want to waste it!! Am hoping all you sw experts can inspire me to make something delish with it!!!
Thanks in advance!

What about making these cheese scones that we were talking about earlier today. I also had the texture of cottage cheese but it might work in this.Mediterranean Mum
