Thank you Flat Eric (love the name!).
Its hard not to get obsessed with the scales and I do try not to weigh in too often - but when I get a good loss it gives such a boost. I think I've got to accept that I'm going to be a 1-1.5lb a week girl, which is good!! Its just when I see other people with 2 and 3lb losses regularly (and that's what I was getting first time round) that I start to think I should be doing better.
Might change my weigh in day as well. Although I still stick to the plan at weekends, I probably don't eat as often as I should or drink as much - I'm better during the week...so a mid week weigh in could be better? Its all in the mind though I guess.
My clothes feel like they fit better and I definitely feel fitter - its just the weight. I'm nearing 13 stones but that is at least 3 stone too much! the losses you are getting may seem slow to you.....but they are losses at the end of the day;) I'm not a fast loser - but I've come to accept that and at least I know that my body has less chance of it all suddenly piling it all back on if I lose it at a healthy/steady pace:)
The exercise you are doing may have some bearing on your slower losses too, when you exercise you need to EAT MORE FOOD (our consultant is always banging on about this to our regular gym bunnies when they are having problems, and sure enough - they increase their food on exercise days & they lose more weightalso your body will automatically store water round the muscles you've used to protect them from exercise....so you MUST drink more to flush it all out!
Hope you get back on track with it soon - but don't give up as this is one eating plan that really does work if you do everything right ;)x x0 -

after 4 days of Reds/SE and massive amounts of fruit & veggies I'm bunged up solidand Mr D says I smell worse than a toilet at Glastonbury :eek::p He said he thought I had died in bed this morning when I dropped a 'silent but deadly'

Copperjar you sound exactly like me. The 1st time round I lost the weight quite quickly -- well 2 or 3 lb a week.
Put it on after a year and more too.
Now its 1lb and sts and 1/2 lb gain every week – very very slow and that puts me off so I end up cheating myself which is why I am joining a class tomorrow! I also jump on the scales constantly……:(0 -

Copperjar - could you maybe speak to a trainer at the gym and see if you are doing the right exercise for fat burning/losing weight - i read that if you exercise too slowly then you are building muscle rather than fat burning, which in the long run is good because it will increase your metabolism but in the short term your weight will not drop off as you want it to. HTH.
Ok so meal plan for me today
I'm doing extra easy(with a few too many syns thrown in)
B - apple, yogurt, weetabix (2)
L - LO pork casserole (carrots, pork, apple, onion)
T - spanish chicken(1) and couscous and huge salad
S - 2 thortons moments(3), velvet crunch(4), shapes delights chocolate(5.5) satsumas
I'm not sure how many syns that lot is but i'm so bored at work today that I can't stop eating and everyone has bought holiday sweets and goodies in..:(:o:(
On a positive note i'm really looking forward to having a lovely salad with my tea - how very sad am i!! i've always hated salad as well - i think i may have bumped my head :doh:
ETA - google is my friend - have googled syns for all my naughties and isn't as bad as i thought!! Just 15-16 for the day..Mortgage amount at 31/12/2011 £166,050 now £0 as at Sept 21 - 15yrs 4 months early.0 -

So, today I am in the tank, on my seat that Dizzy saved (thanks Dizzy) and am being good:
B - frozen berries, yogurt (muller) and 28g of special K (HEB)
L - Asda Hot and Spicy chicken and a HUGE salad (possibly some new pots but maybe not...)
D - ???? I haven't decided yet!! I am home alone, and don't know what I want.
Body Magic today is an amazing bout of housework, I have even taken down the nets to wash and will be cleaning windows!!!! Phew!!
Apologies for quoting myself, but it all changed!!!!
L - Leek and Pot soup (leeks, onions, potatoes, seasoning, water) AND a huge hot and spicy chicken salad (super free heaven for lunch!!:rotfl:)
D - Now, I am leaning towards Chilli with HM SW Wedges...... and possibly another salad on the side........
The body magic stayed the same!! I am done now and not even Kim and Aggie could find fault with my house:A (well, for the next 30 mins....)

would love to join this thread if thats ok ? Have always tried green days on slimming world, but after reading the previous 17 pages....xtra easy seems the way to go !!!!!
went to slimming world about 3 years ago. still have the books but thinking of giving it another go...only need to loose about a stone
can anyone tell me is there anywhere to look for extra east posts or are they all in with the slimming world thread ?
also is Mug shot - noodles in sweet and sour flavour free on extra easy ?
