  • Miss P, when you are shopping, if struggling, try imagining that someone you don't like is behind you wanting to criticise your groceries ... it works for me (most of the time)
    :jThat's 2 stone 9 lbs gone forever:j

oooohh! I wander off for a day and come back and you've all moved!
Thanks for the new thread Consultant!

Today has been quite good foodwise - not perfect but ok.

Breakfast - cereal and milk (B and A choice)
Lunch - reduced fat houmous, grapes and some nuts (2 B choices -s sorry!)
Tea - meatfree kiev (4 syns I think), salad, boiled egg and new pots

Snack later will be raspberries and strawberries with a dollop of chocolate spread:o (still have syns left over)

I've also done a lot of walking with the dog (about 90 mins in total) so hopefully that will balance out the extra B choice, although technically I am maintaining but sneakily hoping to lose 3 more lbs - in my head its logical!:o

A new thread somehow makes you feel more determined, doesn't it?
Thanks for the tips on Micro veg blackberry-rum, I will have a go tomorrow - fed up of salad and need some veg!

    Tomorrow I am planning:

B: yogurt, honey and fruit - 1 syn for the honey.
    L: ham salad sandwich, banana.
D: mashed potato, veg and grilled chicken (kids will be having sausages so musn't pick).

Will have milk as HEA and B is the bread.

I need to get some lentils tomorrow as now that everyone us back to school dahl is my standard lunch.
    Trying to keep in budget.

Hi all, hoping I can join in have been reading the other thread for a while and a new thread seems a good time to join. Have done SW a couple of times before and this time for 3 weeks, going well have lost 13.5 lbs so far, keeping my daughter company as she had become seriously unhappy about how much weight she had put on but is doing really well and lost 1st 4lb so far.

B muller yougart over chopped pineapple
L 3 Finn Crisps and 2 blue cheese laughing cow squares, bannana
D slice of roast pork, frylight roast pots, green beans, swede, carrots and gravy.

quarter of a curly wurly, milk for tea and coffee
Treat everyday as your last one on earth! and one day you will be right.

I'll join in, if I may. Absolutely love slimming world, and any extra input will be fab. I've just had a fab week and at weigh in yesterday lost a whopping 8lbs in a week , but have eaten loads and loads.

WELCOME - great start, you'll get plenty of support here. x
