Phew managed to keep the monsters at bay!!!!! Think I just needed to confess to keep me on track :D thanks Saidan.

AnnangelUK - I know what you mean re: inspiration! Found a fab website this evening:
    http://www.slimmingeats.com/blog/recipes

Spent the last hour converting some recipes so I can eat them and making cute recipe cards. It kept me out of the fridge anyway :D

Very excited for Syn Free Eggs Benedict in the morning:

Ingredients - Syn free on RED and GREEN

    2 eggs poached
    Syn Free Hollandaise Sauce
Bacon or Smoked Salmon (57g cooked bacon or 85g Smoked Salmon 1 HEB on green)
2 slices of white nimble bread (1 HEB, 1 HEB)

    Syn Free Hollandaise Recipe

    Nom nom nom nom!

Please try it and report back on the Hollandaise. I don't expect it to have that gorgeous rich mouthfeel - but can you pretend :)

Morning everyone, can I ask what you have for breakfast as this seems to be where I am struggling at the moment. I don't like milk so can't have cereal and don't like porridge. I get up at 6am in the week so don't have time to cook anything. I have been having cereal bar, yoghurt and fruit when i get to work but doesn't feel enough on a cold morning. At weekends I often have a SW fry-up or bacon sandwich which keeps me going but don't have the time for this during the week. Any ideas gratefully received

I normally have a kelloggs fiber plus bar (HEB) or 6syns - hits my choc fix and fills me up, plus fruit and yoghurt. Do yo have a microwave at work? could you take a bacon roll and re-heat the bacon? I sometimes have a bacon roll from the canteen at work.

Second weigh in this morning and I've managed to lose 4.5lbs!! :jSo happy.....:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:, 6lb in two weeks!!!...not as well as I usually do in my first too weeks but I've have had a few 'off plan days' (very flexible syns) so I'm delighted.

Maybe this is a better way to do it...more sustainable...for me anyway!

Going to try SW sweet and sour chicken tonight....I love Saturdays when I can make freah meals, usually batch cook at the weekend and re-heat during the week!

What am I doing wrong - have been going to SW for 6 weeks and have lost 6lb - don't get me wrong - yes it's going down but a pound a week - really? And a sneaky peak today (yeah I know I shouldn't) is showing a flipping gain!!

Can someone look at my menu for today and see if they can see anything obviously wrong.

    EE
    B - Mullerlight and banana

L - SW vegetable quiche, baked beans, Mullerlight

D - Chicken and veg curry (SW recipe) with rice

    S - 2 x Alpen Light (HEB), Cadbury fudge (5.5 syns)

    milk in coffee (HEA)

You deffo need some salad/veg with your quiche at lunchtime - your plate should have 1/3rd superfree on it.
Could you add some more fruit at breakfast and tea?
    :jFlylady and proud of it:j

As a newbie, can you just check that what I ate yesterday is OK on the EE plan please? I seem to be eating so much that I just want to make sure I am getting it right!

    B - Banana, plums & mullerlight
    S - Apple
L - Grilled bacon (no fat), cold potatoes left over from last night, tomatoes, salad, banana, pear
S - baby bel extra light (HEA); raw carrots
D - spaghetti bolognese (extra lean mince, mixed herbs, tinned tomatoes, peppers, onions, mushrooms cooked in ex virgin olive oil (HEB) & dried spaghetti) followed by a pomegranate.

Drinks were water, sugar free squash & black coffee.

I know I didn't have any syns but to be honest I was so full I didn't feel the need for them and I will have a couple of glasses of wine tonight so that'll make up for it!

I'm no expert but that looks great, I follow the EE plan too and eat loads. I always feel a pang of guilt as my friend who is doing WW sits at work with her tiny portions and there's me with a whole plate full! I never stop eating :o!!!!

Good luck on your journey and welcome.

What about baked beans? If you don't have time to nuke them at home then take them to work with you. I have mine with a slice of toast but they're fine on their own and then perhaps follow up with a banana.

That looks good. All I'd say is I hope you're not having just ONE Babybel!

I bought some of those Kelloggs hi fibre bars to try (milk chocolate) and I have to say I really like them. The perfect chocolate fix :T
